SEA area hotels

So are you looking for a hotel near the airport for an overnight? Or a park to run around in? Guess I'm confused since you say you are arriving at the Seattle airport shortly after noon but have reservations for the next day.

That said, we stayed at the Doubletree near the airport which had a pool but also a large amount of outdoor green space. We were just a pre-cruise overnight so didn't explore the trails, etc. There was also a small grocery store within a couple blocks that I walked to.

The Seattle airport is also very nice with reading spaces, kid spaces, etc. If you have time and want to go somewhere, the rapid transit train will get you almost anywhere you wish to go. The airport is one of the big stations, so you can get anywhere from there.

This is for when we are arriving from BWI. Our day would have started around 3-4am Seattle time.

The kids would be 2, 5 and 6. After 6hrs in the plan (non stop) + 1hr for luggage and car rental pickup, we were thinking the kids would not like being in the car for another 4 hrs to Olympic national park. (we also would not like to be with them in the car)

We are flexabile, so if there is a nice park near the airport where we can have them run for a while. Then we could split the drive or we could stay near the airport.

Looking at Google maps, it looks like Fort Dent park with in walking distance from the Homewood Suites 6955 Fort Dent Way, Tukwila, Washington.

There are 10 people in our group 7 adults and 3 kids.
