Laurab23 Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 If I'm driving to the port can I lock my luggage? Also can I carry on nail clippers, small scizzors, and razors? Or should I put them in my luggage? I really don't want to put them in my luggage with my smuggled booze. Laura
CaptData Posted April 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2004 The only thing I see is if they pick your luggage to check. They would announce your name on the ship and you will have to go to the Purser Office with your key to unlock the luggage for them to check. As for nail clippers going on the ship I see no problem since you just put it through the scanner on board. Krazy Kruizers Posted April 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Luggage Which cruise lines call for passengers to go to the Purser's office if their luggage has been selected to be searched? When we leave the hotel to go to the pier, we always put locks on our luggage. I can't think of a time when any HAL passenger has been called to unlock their luggage.
