chinamoon Posted July 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2016 Hi am taking the 2017 world cruise on P&O in Jan and have three questions that can't find answers to. Is there unlimited internet or do you have to keep buying another 250 minute package? Any idea of how many formal nights there will be maybe from cruisers on lasts years world cruise? Hard to think about what to take in advance if you don't know that info. Will vegans have a hard time with finding satisfying food as I read somewhere that The Aurora did away with their buffet lines. Some people talk about the buffet lines on other P&O ships but not the Aurora? Thanks for any advice or tips for a world cruise?
Host Sharon Posted July 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2016 Hi. Aurora still has an (improved) buffet. If you register in advance as a vegan there shouldn't be any problems in the main dining room. Not sure about the number of formal nights but they will be online about three months before sailing. There is an active roll call for this cruise if you care to join us!

BrianI Posted July 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2016 There are normally two formal nights per week which are held where possible on sea days. Aurora has self service washers and driers which are free to use which helps with the clothing on long cruises. You just have to provide the detergent which you can buy in the on board shop or when you are ashore. Irons are also available. A full laundry service is also available which is chargeable. Internet is not unlimited and is slow and expensive. Wifi is widely available at most ports these days at no cost or maybe for the cost of a coffee in a cafe. moqui_girl Posted July 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2016 I believe the new wifi packages are unlimited per 24 hours purchased. The cost depends on the level of service you need. There is another thread about it if you need more info. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
