Changes in the Gem Haven post dry-dock?

Good Afternoon Friends -

Curious about any cosmetic changes in the Gem Haven since the dry-dock. It looks like from the rare photos I see post 2015 that there have been no upgrades to the furniture or furnishings. I remember from visiting the Haven area (we had a cabin tour) the extremely vibrant purples, oranges and velvet coverings - hey...it's tropical themed, but a bit jarring if I recall correctly.

New or old, it won't affect our trip, though I am hoping for upgraded mattresses. Even in 2015, they were a bit lumpy. But... it's still "vacation lumpy" which means better than my comfy bed I have to leave every morning to go to work! Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer.

Warm Regards, Amy

I can on,y speak for the Haven and Garden Villa we were in ..they Villa had a lot of changes in carpet and furniture. The mattresses in all the Haven rooms have always IMHO been extremely comfortable. The Haven courtyard area was updated . The Gem is absolutely our favorite ship.

Oh, that's fantastic to hear - thank you!

Our 8 year old usually prefers to sleep on the couch rather than on the extra bed, and the youtube videos do not look like the couches (pre-drydock) were particularly comfortable. Having a grouch child try to sleep with you in med is like wrestling with an octopus on caffeine. :)

Put of curiousity, if you don't mind, when did you sail and in what room?

Thanks - Amy

I don't care about tacky...it's vacation! Bring it on!

Comfy, on the other hand...that's a priority. I understand that the tiny gym area went away - did the sauna go away as well? If so, then I think I am going to book the thermal spa pass. Again...it's a comfort thing.

Thank you so much for your reply..
