We are going on our first Disney Cruies Apr 27th and taking our oldest grandson. Does anyone know if they offer a discount on future cruises if you book on board. In about 2 years we would like to take our other grandson on vacation.

If you book onboard at the Future Cruise desk, the deposit is 10% (instead of 20%), and, I believe, you get 10% off the cruise fare. Plus any cruises that are less than 7 nights you get a $100 OBC, cruises of 7 nights and over you get $200 OBC.

If the cruise is In two years time you will need to book a ‘placeholder’ ie a cruise in say 2014, ( any cruise, worth going for a cheap one say 3 nights, doesn't matter), and then when 2015 cruises come out, move that placeholder over to the cruise you want.
To expand and clarify the PP, the discounts do not apply to concierge rooms; there are no discounts on those. Deposits are 10% on ship, and are refundable on all cruises (bar concierge again), up to the Paid in full dates when cancellation charges kick in.
The best thing to do is book on board, tell them its a place holder and transfer to a USA Specialist TA in DCL, ask them to monitor for the release of 2015 cruises, and then on the day of release they will tell you and you can swap to the 2015 of your wish and the best prices are on release day, (normally). Some USA TAs give you on board credit that will help you on the cruise a sort of rebate, and you do not loose any control as they do the work for you, and you can book shore trips and specialist dinning as any other person.

That's what it was when I was on a couple of weeks ago (and booked my next cruise).

Only caveats seemed to be that (a) you can only book two rooms, and (b) You can't book concierge rooms.

Thanks for the info.... I will have to check on things once on board. We would be doing the club level....we would need the extra room with two boys

I found some better information: The deposit is 10% of the cruise cost(normally 20%), not a set amount.

But the OBC thing is correct.
