Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We leave Tuesday for Rome and taking the breakaway cruise Friday. This is our first med cruise overseas and I'm excited and nervous about making all the connections but our daughter is going and she's made most of the arrangements. We've cruise lots of times on different lines so cruising isn't new to us.
  2. We were on Princess last summer and was able to text so i was hoping to be able to text on this ship I have comcast phone and went with international plan so we should be good. Thanks for the info.
  3. quick question was it possible to use cell phones to communicate with other people you are traveling with using text messaging.
  4. We are leaving Tuesday for a cruise tourwith Princess to Alaska on the Majestic. We also booked with AAA after a seminar back in 2019 and afer 2 cancellations fineally going. We are doing 11 days with the land first. This is our first cruise with Princess but have done 14 with other crusie lines. It will be intersting to see how they compare to the other lines we have been on. The medallion has me a little concerned but not as much as the pre ship covid testing. I will post when we get back if you have any questions. I did read Steelers review but not sure how to find it now. Any one out there who can help with that? I would like to read it again before we leave. We are in our 70's and from Pittsburgh. I'll let you know how strenuous the tours are.
  5. Quick question. We are doing a land tour in Alaska before our cruise. Do we still have to have a test beofre we fly to Anchorage?
  6. WE are sailing on the Majestic Alaska cruise in August south bound from Whittier. My travel agent mentiond that some times in ports have changed. How do I go about finding the new times. We will be in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. I want to book some tours.
  7. Thanks our tour begins 8/16 and we told our travel agent AAA to book us on that tour. we are doing the land tour first and then the cruise. I.m a little concerned that we have to test before we start the land portion and then again before we get on the ship but we have been to Alaska before in 1989 and saw the inside passage so the land part is what I'm excited about. If we test positive before the cruise part at least its something we have already seen
  8. We are booked on a cruise tour in August. Our tour in Denali is the National History Tour I wanted to do the Tundra Wilderness tour that goes further into the park and my travel agent is saying that tour is not available but the Park web site has is listed. Has anyone done the cruise tour recently with Princess and did that tour. i know that one is alittle but more expensive and I tried to change it with Princess and they said I had to go through my travel agent.
