Last winter my family was in Georgetown. My father and I sat at this little restaurant bar overlooking the ship and port while my brother went snorkelling basically right beside us. I don't remember what, if anything, he paid. There is coral, lots of fish and even a shipwreck right off the main drag.

That's too bad, it looks to a fun day. If echo the previous poster then, you may be surprised at what's offered on shore the day of. Worst case, there is excellent snorkeling if you leave the port, turn right and walk about 800 meters. Or just hit up seven mile beach for a beach day. It's beautiful too.

I'm currently booked with Dexters Fantasea tours. He's been great with questions via email, always prompt and polite. $40 cash per person, s
One stop at the sandbag and one at another snorkeling place.

When I was on the glory last February, at check in they couldn't find my S&S card. Turns out it was in the FTTF pile, which wasn't recorded on my boarding pass. Apparently it had been somehow added to my account, no charge. I never used any benefits, as I didn't know about the program at all.
Though I after finding out what it was after, I guess I didn't have to wait in line after all to check in!!

I'm hoping they roll this out to non-2.0 ships first! I'm on the freedom in January!

I love my Brita water bottles! I travel a lot, and it's really nice having water that consistently tastes the "same".
Big enough mouth on the bottle to add ice, and the filter is easy enough to take out to add flavourings, if wanted.

Which country's laws do the crew in such situations fall l under? I understand that it's not universal, but here in most of Canada we have "good samaritan" laws that cover people attempting to make such a rescue, especially if they have appropriate training....

I've stayed at the double tree and I have to agree with Frankie and Johnny`s. Amazing!
Hit up the TKTS booth for cheap Broadway tickets!

Just checked and edmonton to Windsor is 1550. Edm to Fort L is 1300. Do the Canadian carriers recognize the irony of this?
Thanks for the creative suggestions, everyone, and especially the sympathy!
Sorry to send you on a wild goose chase! I fly out to Ed once in awhile and generally find cheap fares...though I don't travel over Christmas...
I have to say, living here in Windsor I'm very lucky with both Canadian and US fares....

It may be more work, but what about flying AC to Windsor (yqg), catch a cab to Detroit (dtw). Dtw has dirt cheap fares to Florida and AC is not bad to Windsor. Unfortunately by Christmas westjet doesn't fly to Calgary...

How recently can you confirm that this cabin has 2 twins? Is it within the past year or so? I'm scared to make the change, since goccl is telling me that this cabin is upper/lower.
I was on Glory in Feb 2013 (after 2.0 dry dock) and I stayed in it. It was 2 twins that made a king.

Those three 1As are two twins on all conquest ships. Im not Sandy but I have seen pictures of them on various ships and stayed in 2 of the 3 cabins listed above.
Yes, apologies, we were on Carnival Glory to be specific.
There was an upper as well.

As of Feb 2013 there are at least 2 1A staterooms that have king beds: 8357 and 6393. 8357 was the absolute best for location I could imagine, directly behind the stairs to the Lido...
6393 Was in the exact location, just two floors lower.
Stingyay city tour all booked on 12/16, what to do?
in Cayman Islands
