  1. We arrive back in Southampton on 31st too. Our TA arranged for us to travel on the P&O coach to Birmingham (near where we live) instead of Gatwick (where we fly from). Our TA then issued us new paperwork/booking confirmation which shows this. I have printed this, marked with a highlighter and will take with me to wave at someone if there is any problem. I've just checked and it says Birmingham on our Cruise Personaliser. Jules x
  2. Yes, possibly. After our horrific experience at Manchester to get to Barbados for that Azura holiday, we vowed never to fly from there again, and picked Gatwick instead! When notified of the change to Maleth,, we decided early on there's nothing we can do to change things and to just make the most of whatever happens..... after all its a flight to a fabulous holiday that we are very lucky to be able to take ...we shall see..
  3. I'm not disputing this, but wonder just how early you had to book to get TUI. We booked whilst onboard Azura in March 2022.... and we are flying Maleth.
  4. Congratulations on your cruise bargain and hope you have a wonderful time.. Just to add to the praise for the NW Insurance, as I've always been told to judge a company by how helpful they are if you have to claim. My husband had an accident whilst on Ventura a few years ago, so we contacted NW on our return home. They were unbelievably helpful, and within a week, our claim was settled and the money back in our account. His accident meant we had to purchase a walking stick, and to our surprise, they even covered that cost too.
  5. Last time in Toulon (October 2021), we went to the tourist office and bought a bus ticket, and a ticket to ride the "funicular railway". Not sure what I was expecting, but it was a pleasant bus ride through the town up the station - where a cable car awaited us. White knuckle ride to the top where the views were simply breath-taking, and Britannia looked like a very small toy. There's a restaurant up there too, but it didn't open till lunchtime. From memory it was a very inexpensive trip and very enjoyable, but I couldn't comment on its wheelchair acessability.
