So having ocean view on deck 3 is good ? not a problem with the wrap around deck being right there and venues above you ?

I am wanting information about this port too. we are there from 7 am to 5 pm and I can not find any Golden Circle Tours which leave in the early morning to get back in time. What self guided things can we do ? Not really interested in Blue Lagoon. I am super frustrated.

did you stop at several small cities in Iceland. ? anything in particular at them ? I don't know what cities your itinerary included. was it 14 days too ? I wish we were overnight in Reyjavit , we are just there 9 hours, same with most ports. Thanks for the info so far.

Thanks Roxybear. What other helpful information regarding the cruise would you give ? We are going June 18th-July 2nd so about same season your cruise was. What do we pack for clothing ? Not sure what ports you did, but we do 2 in Norway and then 5 in Iceland and 2 in Scotland. Just a bit nervous about excursions, I want to see stuff but also things appear very expensive. Wish more from your cruise chimed in on the feed with their experiences.

So i noticed someone said they went to Sky Lagoon. I have heard so much about Blue Lagoon. Was Sky Lagoon closer and less expensive ? Did anyone go on the Golden Circle tour but not through the cruise line ? Our cruise next year actually only gives 9 hours at that port, not 2 days like you mentioned.

I am looking forward to hearing about Iceland. We have paid deposit for next year for this ship. Itinerary, Copenhagen, Norway, Iceland and Scotland. Interested in excursions not booked through HAL because of cost. A bit nervous yet about COVID testing etc, hope it lifts by next year. We have done 2 Alaska cruises with HAL
