They can also deny boarding if you show up at the cruise terminal without it.

If you divide the cruise fare by the number of days, the STAR is actually the cheapest at $ 405 per day.

For a 7 yr old, probably the Disney experience will be more enjoyable.

I did Disney to Alaska the 1st year they offered it & we cruised Tracy Arm. It was enjoyable & we loved the Disney experience.

I have taken a New Zealand cruise before & most of the ports will

have local tour operators at the pier or at a visitors centre.

The downside to waiting until you're there is you have to queue for your turn. (sometimes, especially in Tauranga, there was a long queue ).

You will hear the dinging of the elevator & people walking/talking past your room.

In the past, this has happened to me both on a Celebrity & NCL cruise.

When I called Celebrity accounting, they said they would issue a refund cheque ( never received it ).

With NCL, I called my credit card company & told them that the charge on my credit card statement did not match the statement I received onboard.

They said they would dispute the charge with NCL & applied an automatic credit for the difference to my credit card.
