  1. Hi Ann, believe Shel and you should be concerned. Large groups take over public spaces and sometime result in closure of coveted bars. You might want to check this Travel Agent's website to see how many folks we are talking about. If it was me, and the group was over 20, would change my booking.   2. yep Nico had his own inflatible pool on a large portion of the Spirit pool deck on a crossing. Before the Hd finally shut it down due to dozens of complaints. Then, Nico was dancing barefoot on the Guest service counter as the young ladies were gaga for him (no doubt due to his family connection to Manfredi). And Nico's parents had their own reserved table in la Terraza for lunch and dinner. Not a shining moment in my silversea cruises.
  3. Bet, loyalty to Manfredi Lefebvre was a major part of this decision to leave. As I learned a few minutes ago, like Mr. Silver intimates above, a friend told me Fernando is close friend of Manfredi and has been a traveling companion of his since Silversea's inception.

  5. Generous Travel Agents (TA) like the two posters above intimate, rebate a portion of their commission back to their clients. We r fortunate that our TA rebates more than 10% back to us on every cruise. Our TA is in the top 5 travel agents for RSSC world wide.

  8. Yes, but to get the flights I wanted two months ago to Auckland (declined United, Air New Zealand) had to pay an extra $2000). I paused, then and accepted since I received $1000 in referrals and $2250 in FCC (multiple Silversea cancellations during the last two years due to Covid).

Recommend if you use Silversea Air to check your flights with your record locater (ask your TA to provide it, or your Silversea consultant when your air populates on my.silversea)at least weekly. Late last week American Airlines not Silver Air removed our connecting flght (from Atlanta to Dallas) to Auckland and replaced it with flight that had only 50 minutes connection time. This is not even the minimum one hour that is recommend between flights in DFW (75 minutes preferred), let alone if I wanted my luggage to accompany me to Auckland. So, immediately had my TA get with Silver Air and rebook the ATL to DFW flight with a 3 hour layover in Dallas.

About 25 days out Silversea sends you an email explaining how the Blacklane Executive Transfer works. Our voyage is the Silver Dawn maiden voyage April 1st-April 18th. When you open an account and log in Blacklane's website gives you a window to book your complementary rides. For our Silver Dawn voyage, Blacklane allows me to book rides from Mar 18th and returning by May 2.
