Just come off the Divina (Thursday) First time on MSC, fabulous Michael Jackson Tribute show amongst other top class entertainment.
. I have seen a few bad reviews lately for Divina but getting excited now for some good entertainment. Thanks for posting.

Hi,
just read a review on a u.k site from a cruise on Divina taken 3/5 /18. Poster says the shows in the theatre were Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury tributes.

Hi,
cleaning out a cuboard yesterday and came across daily planners from our cruise on Armonia last September.I cant post any photos on this site(wont let me upload) but reading them they have lots of dance lessons, bingo, mega quiz, games on deck, parties on deck,kareoke,...meet with cruise staff to for sports equipment, games and playing cards. There was an ice cream demo, napkin folding, there was even a "throw the slipper" game-lol.
Maybe some kind person will upload more recent dailies for you but I think most of it will still be more or less the same. Hope this helps.
PS plenty of offers on drinks plus spa offers

Hi,
we did the MSC excursion last year from Genoa to Cinque Terre also boat into Portofino. Struggling to remember how much it cost. It was a lovely tour.

Marco and GRANNYOFSIX, thanks for your replies.

Hi,
we sailed Armonia last year and did the MSC excursion to Cinque Terre--we also took a boat into Portofino. I am loving your fabulous photo's..so much better than any I took!!. Great review. Thanks

Hi all,
thank you all for your replies. This will be our 4th MSC ship and have mainly had a good time on all of them ,but reading so many negative reviews put me on a bit of a downer. korpo024 can you tell me about the entertainment please.
cheers

got off. I am due to pay my balance within the next couple of weeks, and not reading too many good reviews of the ship on the review page of this site.
Would appreciate if anyone currently on this ship could give me information if they are enjoying the ship-----or not:(.
Thanks in advance.

Last year on Armonia docking at Marseille we had to be out of our room by 8am. As Eurostar back to U.K was not until 3-30 pm we went to guest services and asked if it was possible to disembark the ship a bit later.MSC allowed us to stay on the ship until 1pm.

Hi, last year on Armonia med cruise we had a Mediterranean night.Lots of red, white and green everywhere. Also had 60's/70's party night and white night. Nearly everyone on board dressed for the white night/bubble/foam party, but not so much for the other 2 theme nights.

Hi Karin,
If I was taking two teenagers on a cruise out of Venice I would looking at all the reviews of the ships doing that itinerary. I believe its the Rhapsody of the Seas ,NCL Star and MSC Musica....I'm looking at that itinerary for myself for next year. Have a great cruise whichever you pick.

Hi all,
I have booked a Med cruise on Divina this year, looking forward to it as absolutely loved Splendida her sister ship. Only thing I am a bit worried about is the entertainment Last year on Armonia ,I thought the entertainment was awful..although enjoyed the rest of the cruise. The latest reviews on CC for Divina are not very good--fingers crossed for more positive ones to come along.

Hi,
I sailed on Armonia last year from Marseille. Usually MSC ships leave port at later times than other ships I have sailed on...usually 7pm. We had a disembarkation time of 9am but as our train back to UK wasn't until 3.30pm we asked for a later d/bark time....they allowed us to stay on until 1pm.
-
I have just copied and paste this and put it in my calendar. I will definitely look out for this on our next cruise. Thanks
Lol. I will be looking out for it on my next cruise on Divina .Thought at first it was Tortellini...but not so.
-
Focaccia bread..the best anywhere.
On one cruise had fresh tortelli (small) fresh cooked pasta in a buttery sauce topped with parmesan cheese....yum yum.

Hi DebsLpool,
If you have YC or Aurea experience on MSC I believe you have priority embark/disembarkation. I would check with MSC direct or your TA about this if you have an early flight. You are not allowed to bring alcohol onto the ship..if you purchase at ports this will be taken from you and given back to you at the end of your cruise--although I have read on these boards that some people have got away with that:). Not sure about dining but last year we were on Armonia and boarded late afternoon, all dining shut except for the burger bar!! I expect the larger ships may have buffet open. MSC drinks are very reasonable I would definitely look at the all inclusive packages...sooo worth it. Hope this helps.

Can't we do both? :')
Creased? Mask? Oh wait, was it a demon looking mask from Puerto Rico? Again, maybe it's a good thing al my previous pictures have disappeared. I have a pic of myself in a giraffe mask on Facebook...
Creased ... You know when you have sort of have to bend yourself in half because you are laughing so much ,mmmm but maybe that expression is just a u.k one:D. Sorry that picture has disappeared Maureen,it was hilarious. Loving your photographs, nice to see some sunshine.
-
Lots of Limoncello on board.:D. Have a great cruise.
-
Maureen, love your reviews....you have me creased:D I have never forgotten that photo of you in a mask!-I think you were on Divina .

All right, so, when I went to bed last night, I had a few thoughts about Grand Cayman. I didn't have anything planned and it is a tender port.
I'm "wearing my drinking shirt" Monday and Wednesday, so, perhaps Tuesday would be a good day to sleep in, catch up on my review.
I thought about buying some Tortuga Rum Cakes, but, there is literally no room in my suitcase for that.
I had told a few people I'd try to mail them postcards, the ship does NOT sell postage, like other ships I've been on.
So, I figured I could bring my addresses with me off the ship, pick up some postcards, stamps, and mail them off.
And, for my female friends back home, I thought I'd go to Big Black Dick's and see if I could find some t-shirts proclaiming I love Big Black Dick's, (the apostrophe is important here). :')
So, I googled mailing postcards from Grand Cayman, trying to find a post office, etc. All I found was people talking about going to Hell and mailing them. I knew I didn't want to pay to go to Hell.
So, I googled Big Black Dick's. I did NOT find any information about a rum store on Grand Cayman! What I did find left me t̶h̶r̶i̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ ̶ ̶ ̶d̶e̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶ ̶ ̶e̶n̶t̶h̶r̶a̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ horrified. ;);)
Four hours later, I turned off the computer and went to bed. :'):')
crying laughing.

Looking forward to reading your posts. That beach looks stunning!
-
That's the ladies I was was talking about!!!! lol. Stef's review of Magnifica is brilliant.
-
Hi,
I sailed on Magnifica in 2014 and can remember some stunning ladies toilets at aft end of the pool deck--near a ping pong table. These toilets have a wonderful view over the sea. Also remember toilets near buffet and theatre.
MSC Divina Pillow Issues
in MSC Cruises
Posted
Hi,
the last two cruises on MSC the pillows have been fabulous. I think the make is Dormeo(or something similar). I cannot sleep unless I have 3 pillows ..and our cabin attendant brought me 2 more pillows still in their wrappers..I seem to remember there was a pillow menu. I think maybe that MSC has moved on from Pillow Gate:D as there used to be lots of complaints about them on these boards...and I have not seen one of those for a while now. Was it the seacruisers video you watched. I am on the Divina next month. I will let you know.
