  1. I just read the new beverage package brochure, I checked the link on the Premium Alcoholic package and it showed a picture of Crown Royal. Our last cruise, DH was able to get Crown Royal on the Classic package, does anyone if they have changed up the packages, and if so what package can DH get Crown Royal on? Thanks

    Carol

  2. I had the Non Alcoholic package last cruise and it worked perfect for me as I am not much of a drinker either. I do need my water and lots of it and the package more than paid for itself in water alone. On top of that , I was able to get great coffee at Cafe El Baccio, and the IGLU was awesome every afternoon. If you like soft drinks or fresh juice, the package includes that as well. Just pay for the few alcoholic drinks you want.

  3. Come to Oqunquit or Old Orchard Beach in Maine in the summer. There are many Canadians in Speedos.

Ah, we are from VT and see many of those ourselves at the local lakes! I think the difference is location.....the people from Quebec seem to move to the beat of their own drummers! Our friends from Ontario would agree, they hate being compared to those from Quebec.

  4. This must be a new policy, I had the non-alcoholic package and my DH the alcohol package on our last cruise. I am not a huge drinker and it was much more economical to buy them as I wanted them than to go with the alcohol package. I am not so sure I like the new policy

  5. On our last cruise my DH and I could not get the anytime dining, just the first seating in the MDR, and we often times found our schedule to hurried to make it on time. That paired with the fact my DH hates to dress while on vacation, made the buffet a perfect solution for us. We ended up eating in the buffet every night of our cruise and enjoyed it very much. The buffet in the evening is never crowded or loud and we found plenty of food. If you are fan of sushi, there is a wonderful array , there is a grill to order station where you can get pork chops, steak, chicken and salmon. A wonderful pasta station with many types of pasta and sauces. A stir-fry station with wonderful fresh ingredients they cook inf front of you. There are of course many more offerings as well. The wonderful part is, the buffet is where the staff eat on most nights and we enjoyed the company of the cruise director on several evenings and the captain, his wife and young son on another. We will be cruising on the Summit in April, and with the exception of finally trying Bistro on 5, we will be eating at the buffet again.

  6. We are staying two nights pre- cruise and wanted to stay in Old San Juan to do lots of sight seeing, l did lots of research on Trip Advisor, and one place just stuck out....very highly rated. I know it Isn't the choice for many, but we are simple travelers and only need a bed to get rest as we plan on being on the go. We also plan to do beaches at every port, so a hotel with a beach and pool are not a priority for us. We will be staying at Pasado San Fransisco in a private room for $60 per night, right in the heart of Old San Juan, close to many restaurants and right near the trolley stop. It is rated mostly 5 stars by everyone on Trip Advisor,a perfect choice for us,and all the money we save can be used elsewhere on our trip.
