  1. Hope I don't come across as dumb, but on my recent booking I was given Voom. What is that? I know its internet but is it a certain amount of time on the internet. We lock our phones away once we board, since we are glued to them normally but maybe now I will check in at home once or twice during the week.

    thanks,

    Kathy

  2. I have question. I don't want to rush to the ship on the morning we board. I have VIP boarding, but would still like to do some things in Barcelona, as long as I am on the ship by 2pm and we sail at 5pm I should be good right?

  3. Just a question. is the Flyaweigh a different program than the new air program for Carnival? I found the flights I wanted and called carnival for pricing. But I don't have to wait to find out where and when I fly, I already know? I booked my flights for Europe August 2016 for 800 less than on Delta directly. I already got my flights and I already went back onto Delta and entered my confirmation number and picked my seats.

  4. YAY I did it. I have been wanting a specific flight from Atl to BCn and back. We really wanted direct flights, since this is the first time we are going to Europe. Well I called Carnival the other day and the lady told me I could not book flights for my cruise until End of November. Cruise is in August 2016.

Well today I decided to call back and I am so glad I did. I just booked the exact flights I wanted on Delta for $961.00 cheaper than through Delta direct.

I am excited because I will pay it off with my Barclays card, and get points why I am at it.

Just an FYI, it took about an hour. They are still learning the system but its ok I am patient. We did realize though that they have two screens, one for just quoting and one for actual booking. Make sure you get your price from an actual booking screen because that's the actual price.

Two of us from ATL to BCN for $1801.00 total.

    Good luck all.

  5. Carnival used to sail out of San Pedro every week. They then took over the building that used to house the Spruce Goose in Long Beach and turned it into a new terminal and built up around that. We used to cruise alot out of the San Pedro channel and its great just to go through. Long Beach is a straight shot out into the ocean. Either way you get to go on a cruise and thats the best part.

    Have fun.

  6. LOL Catdid, I would have replied too for that reason.:D

Quick question. Has anyone done the premium economy on Air France and is it worth the extra money? My husband can fall asleep on a Rock, myself on the other hand, besides being a nervous flier I need a bit more comfort and unfortunately I cannot afford the seats that make into a bed:rolleyes:

    thanks everyone again!

  7. Thank you everyone for responding. this is why I love CC.

We are looking at direct flights, but right now they are pricey, so we are probley going to connect somewhere. We are open to flying really any airline as long as its somewhat comfortable (no plane is really :(

I have never flown that far, the most has been 6 hours but I am really excited to go on the Epic and really excited to spend three days in Barcelona.

  8. Hello All,

I need some help. We are going on the Epic out of Barcelona on Nov. 22nd. We have already gotten an apt in Barcelona, but now we are looking at flights. We want to fly out of Atlanta on the 18th at 9:30pm. It says we will have an hour and half at Charles DeGulle before boarding a second flight to Barcelona. We have never flown International and I have no idea if 1.5 hours between flights will be enough time. We are light packers so we will only have 2 bags that we are checking.

Also if anyone has experience with Air France Premium Economy that would be great to hear about.

    Thanks in advance.

  9. Was on the Dream last August. My son in law was born in Tennesse and his originial birth certificate does not have a raised seal. I was freaking out, but then when we got to the port the agent told me no worrys he boarded just fine. Come to find out not all states have raised seals. I think you will be fine. Good luck and have fun. We had a blast on the Dream!
