I was wondering what do you need for each port. I want to travel with my service dog but scared. What paper work do I need?
We travel with a service dog..she is going to be on her 6th cruise in September and 7th in November.....We've learned a lot and have some suggestions for you....-
Don't be hesitant to do it.....it's wonderful! And truly has made our cruising so much more fun!!!!!! :p

We've cruised on Celebrity/NCL/Princess/Carnival and HAL.
-
The Best (most accomodating-all around) - HAL
-
The Best set-up (potty-box) - NCL/Princess
-
The Best crew for dog friendliness HAL/Princess
- Passenger friendliness...every ship we've ever been on. We only 1 passenger in all of our cruises who absolutely refused to eat in the Buffet area, with a dog!
If you have any questions about the ship requirements/easy way to deal with "special needs" departments/cabins/dining area/potty box/food/exercise/hotel/excursions/airplanes, etc. Ask away......
I don't want to bore you with all the details...so, I'll let you lead the way! ;)

I have a service dog and was wondering if anyone knows what paper work I need to take my dog on shore. I am traveling with NCL going to San Juan (Puerto Rico); St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands); Philipsburg (St. Maarten); Tortola (British Virgin Islands.
Do we need special passports. I am from Canada and want to travel with my service dog.

Are the Souvenir Glasses plastic?

To bad you are not going in February so it will be fixed for when I go.

Just relating my experience as it happened last week.
Maybe I was treated differently than they treat everyone else.
When I was on the Epic [and I should have clarified my statement to be limited to the Epic since I can't say what they do on the other ships] and ordered a foo foo drink, ie a blended cocktail - not a martini or a highball, my experience was that unless I specified I wanted a regular glass they served it in a souvenir glass and charged me the extra $2.25. Also in my experience when I finished my drink the waiter took the souvenir glass. When I ordered another drink (unless I specified otherwise) they brought it in a new souvenir glass and charged me another $2.25 for that. Since I saw them washing the souvenir glasses at the bar, I'm assuming they resold them.
In my case, in my stateroom, whenever we brought a glass back it was taken when the room was cleaned. Again, I'm sure if we mentioned it they would have left them.
So, I'm just trying to give people a head's up. Unless you want the souvenir glass, ask for a regular glass and pay the lower price.
Is the souvenir glass included if you get the drink package?

can you let me know if you find one?

HELP! I want to travel with my service dog but don't know where to start. I tried to contact the cruise line but they are telling me I need to contact Department of Agriculture. Everything that I have been reading is to import dogs/animals. I don't see anything about visiting. I am travelling to St.Marteen, St.Thomas, Tortola and Puerto Rico
