Have not cruised in 2 years so checkin process is now very different. Trying to checkin on my computer and it's looking for a photo. Not sure how to get this done.
Is it absolutely necessary to do this now or can this be done at the port? Also not sure about the biometric data for boarding and photography. We have our passports and thought these photos would suffice.
Looks like we have to maybe go to CVS to get photos.
Can you checkin on the Celebrity app and is it any easier to do it that way?
Greatly appreciate all help and information to try and get through this process.

Will be on the Equinox for 9 nights in mid September, so looks like no more pre boarding test is required. Just want to make sure I am reading it right.
-
We also received the offer for only the balcony with no additional perks and was surprised at any offer since our last cruise was on the Equinox in 2019. Have only sailed out of N.Y. and FL. ports and these cruises leave from Calif.
We live in South Carolina and not sure if depending on the airfare if it's that good a deal.

Does anyone know what is included under promotion code LOCAL LUXURYNRD.
Thanks.

Basically looking at price but do prefer eastern/southern Caribbean and realize the cruise with the OBC was a way better deal unless you spend all day drinking. As to the hurricane issue, we have been on almost 40 cruises during hurricane season and once we were headed back to Florida but were behind the hurricane so no problem. But Miami sure was a mess. . And once they diverted from back to Tampa to PT. Canaveral and we went by bus back to Tampa. Going in hurricane season is always a crapshoot and you just have to hope not to have any issues.

Yes the offer was for 2 people and did not see any indication it included drinks while playing in the casino. We did get other offers that included drinks in the casino and rate was around $1950.00.

Thanks to all those who replied as I appreciate the comments. I was originally really leaning towards the first deal since we could have used the $200.00 OBC towards drinks and even if we had to spend say another $200.00 for drinks we still would have been saving $300.00 over the second deal. The other issue was that the first deal was not available in Sept.

7 nights in a deck 11 midship balcony on Mardi Gras in late July with $200.00 00 OBC for $1615.00 or 7 nights in a deck 11midship balcony on Mardi Gras in early Sept with the cheers package for $2145.00. Greatly appreciate all thoughts.

Last week my Sept. 10 day cruise increased by $1500.00 with a ton of open cabins in 2A. 3-4 days ago it was only up $1100.00. Last night it was only up about $800.00. Very glad I got the deal I did about 6 weeks ago but who knows if the ship will be sailing in Sept. I had to include CFAR in my travel insurance since Celebrity's cancellation policy didn't go out that far. Hoping for the best for everyone.

Will be on the equinox in Sept. and hoping that Celebrity extends the cancellation offer past our cruise date. Will be taking travel insurance that covers pre-existing but have only 2 more days to add CFAR. Hate to pay the additional for CFAR but don't want to take the chance that we may decide to cancel depending on how things look in another 6 months.
-
Will be on the Equinox in September and have until March 9th to include CFAR in my travel insurance. Wish Celebrity has extended the cancellation offer past the end of July so not to pay for this extra feature. Hopefully they will extend the offer but if not I will include the CFAR just to be safe.

This list is great. Will be on the Equinox in September with the classic package and now have many new drinks to try. Thanks.

Prices do seem to have gone crazy. Booked this Sept on the Equinox while onboard last Sept for approx $3600 with 2 perks. Just checked prices for same category with the military discount and 2 perks is now approx $4600. I can see why a line like MSC is attracting so many people with low pricing but not sure what the experience would be like after reading so many not great reviews.

Has anyone had any success in contacting NCL to extend the expiration date of the certificates? If so, how far in the future would NCL extend them?

Will be on an 11 night cruise in September and looking for a hotel that includes parking and transportation to port. Last 2 years we left from Miami and have not left from Ft. Lauderdale in 4-5 years. I am hoping to get suggestions for hotels that CC cruisers have stayed at. I know most of these deals include 7 days free parking and will have to inquire about the additional days. I know some websites will list dozens of hotels but thought it would be easier to ask here for recommendations.

Great review. Was on the ship this past September for 11 nights and booked onboard for next September for 11 nights. Took the drink package as one of the perks. How did you find the cocktail choices in classic drink package? Just wondering if its necessary to upgrade to premium. It would be great if someone could post the current drink price lists to see how many drinks are outside of the classic package.

Just picked up a box of 4 patches this afternoon for my wife. Got them at Walmart. Price was $25.00 using insurance as no generic is currently being made.
-
I also just got an email for Equinox Sept. 3rd. I picked our cabin last Sept. while on almost the same cruise. I see all the bid selection categories but I know that some of the cabin locations may not be in a place we would ever select and don't want to be in a bad location. If you could pick your cabin that would make it easier, but the room location is up to Celebrity.

Had my gallbladder out last week and was sore for 3-4 days. Now it will be interesting to see how long it will take to slowly get back to eating the things I like. We cruise in 6 weeks and I would hate to pass up my favorite cruise breakfast item eggs/salmon benedict. I will try to not eat any bad foods for the next couple of weeks so hopefully my system will adjust.
-
I may be having my gallbladder removed in the next week or so and was hoping for advice from anyone that had a similar situation how they handled eating all the food that is available. Wondering if their were certain foods you had to avoid and how you made out. We are not cruising for 2 months and I am hoping that my digestive tract will return somewhat to normal.
-
We will also be on the Sept. 3rd sailing and may want to book some specialty restaurants. This will be our 4th Celebrity cruise and have always eaten in the MDR. Will probably wait until we are on the ship and see what deals they are offering.

After a little more research, decided to go with Holiday Inn Express for not that much more money. Way to many choices to pick from and have not ruled out parking at port.
-
Thinking about booking the above hotel for 11 night cruise in Sept. Can book their stay and cruise parking deal which includes 10 nights of parking for approx. $101.00. Shuttle to and from port is $15.00 pp extra. Would greatly appreciate any feedback from cruisers that have stayed at this location as to their thoughts. Hampton Inn we stayed at last year would be approx. $225.00 which includes the extra nights of parking and shuttle to the port..

Thinking of booking this cabin which is right near the elevators. we usually try to book a few cabins away from elevators but this is the only cabin available close to the elevators for the cruise we are looking at. I can't seem to find any reviews for this cabin and was hoping that a CC member that has stayed in this cabin could provide any info as to noise or any other issues being so close to the elevators.
Checking Time - Can u be late

Got my checkin time as 1:30-2:00. I remember when you just had to get to the port and not worry about an assigned time. Will they at least let you in the building if you arrive early?
We are staying at a hotel with a park and cruise package and a shuttle to the port. Most likely have to check out of room by 11:00 and that is alot of time to kill until checkin.
