YouTube changed the link to my video tour of the Carnival Freedom from March 21st-28th, 2015. We love the ship and its' 2.0 upgrades. Our memory cards became full quick, so there are a few videos clipped together.

Overall, it is a general tour of the public areas and a few secret places!

Great video.....thinking of taking a last minute cruise and can't decide which one from Galveston.....I have been on all the current ships from Galveston except for Freedom although I have sailed The Conquest several times minus the 2.0 upgrades.

Thanks guys for the great comments. I have been on both the Magic and the Freedom, and I would have to say that personally, I would choose the Freedom because of the 2.0 upgrades. My wife and I do not have any kids so the Sportsquare is not a big loss for us. I will also say that the crew on the Freedom is among the best we have ever had.

I agree that Guy's burger is that good. I literally had one every single day of the cruise!

We are landing in Orlando a day before our cruise. What's the best way to get to Port Canaveral? We see that Carnival has shuddles the day of the cruise but not the day before?

What kind of rooms or amenities does the Sunshine Spa have? I know no thesso pool, but heat does it have? Most of the dream class ships include 3 or 4 others rooms. Is it worth the fee?

No, as stated below these are the letters you get on the last night of a cruise. Lots of summer dates available. Just have to pay port fees and taxes. $169 for an 8 night cruise to the Southern Caribbean.

My DW and I are booked to go on the sunshine July 18. We are flying in on delta on the 17th and do not have a transfer service booked. What do you guys recommend? We also need a hotel room and one that is close to either shopping or eating places because we won't have a car. Should we go ahead and be shuddled to Port Canvernal the day before the cruise, or spend the day in Orlando? If we stay in PC we need a hotel that has a shuddle service to the port or would a taxi be easier? I'm fine with doing the Carnival shuddle to the airport after our cruise, but we need help with pre-cruise accommodations.

What do you guys think?

Are there any hot tubs on the 3 decks of the Carnival Sunshine? Also, how are the spa amentities compared to the Magic, Dream, and Breeze?

Just received free inside offer for Jul 18 sailing on Sunshine, upgraded today to Balcony for $400 per person, I feel $800 for 2 people for an 8 day cruise is still a great deal considering the Balcony rooms are normally going for almost $1300 per person.

I just booked today using a free cruise offer from my land based casino. What are the details of your offer? I am presuming that it is for inside room for two passengers? I was able to upgrade to an aft extended view balcony for the difference between the inside and the balcony cabin. I booked using the Casino Promotions number 1-888-294-6225. Had to pay the upgrade plus port fees and taxes. What a great deal. Enjoy.

Just called and they moved me to deck 8! I asked about a balcony room and it was going to be over $300 a person. The offer was for a free interior cabin and just pay port fees and taxes. Thanks for the advice!!

I recently booked a free room with a casino offer for the July 18 sailing on the Sunshine. I was told they only had one inside room left and it was on floor 1. Is there a way to check and see if they have other rooms available now or even upgrade to a balcony? If it were just a couple hundred dollars then I would upgrade and get a higher floor. Anyone have experience with this?

Does the casino have a craps table?

We were on this same cruise. We have traveled on 5 cruises and 4 different boats. We loved the 2.0 upgrades on the Freedom. I must say Guy's burger is all that it is cracked up to be!

You can't combine the offer with a booked sailing. I got a casino letter on the Freedom a few weeks ago and I had 2 cruises booked. I booked the 3rd with my casino offer.

I do not have a cruise booked for the future even though the letter says that I do. Do you think they will give me a free cruise as this is an oversight error on their part?

I just got off the Freedom this morning and received a letter from the casino. I have received letters from the casino in the past for free cruises, but this one said that I already have a cruise booked but to call to see what they can do. The letter said that it could not combine offers. I do not however have a cruise booked, and would love the free cruise offer. Has anyone experienced this before? I am going to call Monday, but wanted to see if you guys have converted this offer to another?

I recently purchased a GoPro for our incoming cruise. For you guys who have used one, what advise do you have for using it both on the boat and in the water? Setting, frames, etc...
