  1. Fourth cruise in 2 years... Casino rate is $195 for 6 nights (Freedom Jan 6th) We have been up on all every trip so far, we place minimum bets on 3 card poker, and play a few hours. We DO tip the dealers. The supervisor has some discretion to enter play levels, etc. and we can only guess that being nice/social players that show our appreciation works in our favor.

My husband plays a little longer but seems to have better luck, and therefore tips more frequently. Somehow he earns the free drink coupon and gets mailed more often and larger casino offers. Karma?

The casino rate is kind of buried; on the screen where the inside/oceanview/ balcony/suite are side by side, the rate showed $365... the casino rate only popped up when I clicked thru to the page where the easy saver, past guest, etc. rates are shown. You might have to dig pretty deep to see when and where it's offered. It disappeared after a week, and then just came back here as we hit the 30 day mark. We hadn't gotten a call or letter or any other notice.

Thanks for the comments. We play for fun as well. We DO tip as well and are kind to those we see. It was difficult to find the rate. We had to expand the ports that we willing to travel to, and found these $50 cruises. We can still book other cruises but they are not as deeply discounted.

  2. I haven't seen any casino rates since we were on our Casino Cruise in October. How did you find those rates.

I just typed into VIEP number. They mentioned that this was the second time they have tan this offer this year. Maybe we are limited to just one cruise under this offer.

  3. This sounds too good to be true! How much was your casino offer for?

I wish I could get an offer like this!

The prices are in my original post! We wanted to go out of Galveston or New Orleans but none of the &50 cruises worked for us. We are both teachers and needed a date that fit spring break!

  4. While researching cruises yesterday, my wife and I were offered $50 inside cabins, $80 ocean view cabins, and $120 balcony cabins on a casino rate. We were shocked to see 8 or 9 different options. We have decided to take the Dream to an Eastern itinerary on March 22-29. We booked a large balcony and even got $100 onboard credit. We have never been on her and hope to get some good reviews or excursion ideas to Nassau, St. Thomas, or St. Maartin.
