Can I give an honourable mention to Cartagena? I love the way you can easily walk fro the ship straight to the town centre.
Sure there are other ports that offer this proximity, but there's something wonderful about that marina area in Cartagena.

Thanks for the lin emam!
She's looking great. Now all we need is to see inside. Guess that's going to be quite a while though.

Can we please have Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem as the house band?

I thought the Vicky was out in Australia somewhere .. has she come back or have I confused her with the Queen Elizabeth?
(not doubting you've seen the ship btw 🙂 )
EDIT: Just found it in the Cunard sub-forum. Yep, the Elizabeth is in Manilla Bay.

That's great news.
Weird to think it wasn't all that long ago we were discussing the delays in construction with the other ships (Mardi Gras) which thankfully didn't affect Iona.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned a casino in any shape or form.
We're certainly saving some space by not having one. 😄 (sorry casino fans!)

Can I make one small request about the Crystal Room? Remove that divider between the seating area and the dance floor. Totally blocks the view if you're sat next to it.

I think we need a glasshouse. I really like the one on Ventura with the tree to sit beneath but the rest of it isn’t great. Maybe high in the atrium as on Britannia but with the tree.
Nice suggestion. I like the wine cellar aesthetic it has also.

Twogreynomads, you beat me to it! I was just going to suggest a thread like this! haha 🙂
If we're building it from exitsting ships, then I agree, Arcadia's Crows Nest is a great choice. And either her or Oceana's prom decks are perfect.
Cafe Jardin on Oceana is a nice spot. And so is that conservatory bit of Java on Britannia. So can we combine the two? Java Jardin perhaps ?
Atrium, hmm.. Britannia does have the wow, but feels too vast at times. I've never been on the Azura and Ventura's atruims look like a nice compromise of size and "wow".
I'll also second the earlier mention of the Palladium on Arcadia.
Next tricky one... the buffet. I love the linear layout of Arcadia's, but Britannia's had a nicer seating area.

Whatever you have paid so far, deposit or full payment, is transferable, but you can only get a refund when the cruise is formally cancelled (up to 31st July). If you just cancel before balance due date, you have to transfer the deposit as FCC or lose it. P&O is being a bit crafty in cancelling after balance due dates, as they then have a lot of people’s money for 60 days until they refund it, which helps their cash flow - but not ours! Thanks for the reply.
I guess I'm fortunate that they have cancelled it before the balance payment was taken then.
-
Apologies if this is a daft question, but I've only paid a deposit so far. Would that mean they won't now take the balance? And that just the deposit is transferrable?

Seabreeze for me, sitting in Arcadia's Crows Nest.

Is it first come first served? I'm guessing they disembark passengers and then move to anchor for the next one in the queue.

Think it looks like Southampton will become one big cruise ship park with all heading home.
I wonder how they are going to arrange all that. After disembarking their passengers where will they all go? Surely not enough for the three Queens and the seven P&O ships.
In relation to Arcadia, I see that she's heading to Durban and Cape Town before heading back to Southampton.

I've realised that I don't spend nearly enough on OBC to make any use of the benefit. Oh well...
Well done to anyone who has been able to make the most of this temporary drop in prices.

Sorry to ask probably obvious questions, but whats the best route to purchase shares?
I've had a bit of a look on the t'interwebs and it seems a lot of sites come attached with monthly fees etc. - which is a going to quickly eat into a small investment.
-
That's great, thanks Eddie.
I'll have to give it some consideration.
-
Thanks for the replies.
You've all got me thinking now, those OBC figures aren better then I had though. I guess getting that cancels out any OBC you wold normally get (as a non-shareholder)?
-
I've probably asked this before (so apologies for repeating myself), but what benefits do you get? I've seen OBC mentioned, is that awatrded on a percentage scale related to the number of shares or just a flat fee ?
And... that question.. what's the entry level for this? Are we talking 1,00 shares or does it have to be more?
-
I believe this is the second one of these I've had. Never clicked on the link though.

Wow she looks great. And to think we were all commenting on how much there was left to do only a few months ago..

^I imagine she absolutly towers over the old Artemis. By today's standards she's a tiny ship.
