July 3rd sailing. Stockholm 9-4, Copenhagen 10-6. I guess I really liked experiencing the cities at night on azamara. In the Berlin port you are there until midnight, my understanding is Berlin is a long (4hr) train ride? Is it worth the ride or do u go to hamburg or stay I rockstock?

We booked a 12 night russia and Scandinavia cruise for July. and I have to say I just looked at the times in port and I'ma little disenchanted. We get in later (9:30-10) and leave really early some as early as 4!? Has anyone been on this cruise and can you speak to the experiences on this cruise and what to do in some ports with such little time?

This is the one thing I find disappointing with celebrity. , when we cruised Azamara we were in port much longer.

We just did a greek isles on the reflection in Sept if was a fabulous trip. The ship was not too big.

Did you stay in the cabin? I like being on the hump, bigger balconies. I remember the overhang from 1044 in sept. I'm also concerned about being on port side on a RT cruise. We are on the July 3 rt out of Amsterdam. I don't want to always have a sea view when docked. We were starboard last time and always on the side of the port when docked which I preferred.

Is this balcony obstructed?! I think I just read something that said it is and that there's a beam, which makes me irritated. Last cruise we were in 1044 across the hall which we liked but it's not avail. I think I prefer starboard over port. Cabin 1122 is avail but I have to wait until Monday to talk to my TA to switch it. Can anyone tell me about these two cabins? Thanks.

There are suites avail... We are currently in concierge class. Personally I'm fine with no upgrade since it's a port intensive cruise, hubs wants to do it. Thanks for the info I'm sure it will be fabulous either way :)

Suite guarantee? Our ship leaves tomorrow And our travel agent said a suite upgrade now is available should we want it (she's family) ans told us the price... wondering if it's worth it. So even if the suites are not filled no deals... interesting

Anyone done it? Did you get a deal? Hubs is interested

I'm just looking at possibly forgoing it and saving the $. Are there shaded (umbrellas etc) places by the pools?

Do you recommend pre booking a dining package? Does that help ensure reservations in any way? Is there self service laundry on th ship?

Ok, so which number did you call? I called the 800 # on my reservation and they told me no I couldn't book ahead. Grr

As far as pre paid gratuities, is that bad? Is it a set $ or % ? I just hate being on a schedule on vacation.

I want choice instead of 6, I'm waiting to hear back from my TA. IF I wait to book the dining package on the ship is it more $ ?

Is the best time to book the packages before the cruise? We are on reflection and 4 dinner package (one at ea place). Is 125/pp. also are there only two times to eat in the dining room? We are 6:15 right now which is too early, and 8 is too late....

Idk, that's what I was told when I called...hmmm. Are they worth the $....?
