Loved Sabor!
Does Sabor offer a Margarita Pitcher? or just single serving margaritas? Are premium "top shelf" margaritas offered?

Been searching for the Chef's Table menu....interested if they have changed anything since our last visit on the Fantasy out of Charleston, 2012.

I tried using my personal hairdryer and it blew out the power in the cabin as well as the cabins on our side of the hallway. :)
Fires on a ship can be disastrous....so glad you didn't start an electrical fire.

Hey all - if you are traveling Carnival out of Charleston- be prepared for craziness at the port.
Charleston is NOT my favorite port. The last time we were there the rumor was that the City of Charleston didn't want any cruise ships even coming there. City proper residents didn't like the "noise" the cruise ships caused on Sunday mornings.

Does Carnival Sunshine offer a three or four upcharge restaurant package at a reduced price?

We have cruised several times as a mid-40's married couple on Carnival (without kids).
Never book a cruise during "high" out of school vacation times.....i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break.
I always choose middle of September, for first week in January since most kids will have to be back in school. Summer is out of the question, period!

It is not like 9124. Much roomier. If you go and search Carnival Sunshine on Cruseline.com, they have four pictures of 9126 that give you a good perspective.
Got the room numbers mixed up...sorry for the confusion I caused.

Hello.
We were lucky to grab Cabin 9126 on our upcoming cruise on the Sunshine. Originally was going for a balcony, but this appeared on the Carnival booking site, so I grabbed it (I did have to call Carnival as it would not let me complete the booking online).
Does anyone have pictures of what the sofa looks
I will be enjoying Cabin 9124 next year. Here is a vid of 9124 and I am sure your cabin will be identical!

It's not very private
My last experience on CCL, the Chef's Table was in the Library....it was so intimate...and adventurous culinarily speaking. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Can I buy a full unopened bottle of gin or vodka on board? I can't seem to find anywhere to place the order.
-
Back in the good old days (circa 1972), NCL offered spectacular Midnight Buffets....not many of the ships do that any longer, on a regular basis.

Very frustrating when they can't get your dinner orders right! No matter WHICH menu they had...they TAKE your order...but can't seem to bring what you order....that's a waiter problem...not a menu problem!
With all the computerization of the current ships, I would like to see wait people have an iPad ordering system! They can take your cocktail order, food order, and wine order sending it immediately to the correct location. There is nothing more frustrating that having your waiter "hunt down" a cocktail drink person. And things could be speeded up so much at the pool if the servers had a little better connection computer wise. Your drinks could be ready before your server gets back to the bar!

Vacation is what WE make it. And we go for a good time. Haven't been let down yet.
Me either. Even the Ritz Carlton has a bad day. One thing I do know...the staff and management of ANY RCL ship are Ladies and Gentlemen taking care of Ladies and Gentlemen. It's a pity that some guests do not comprehend they should remain Ladies and Gentlemen.

Why not go to Kennedy Space center?
Parker Brothers Concepts is an outstanding "car" museum. Highly recommend.

All the recent reviews of the Freedom of the Seas sound bad. I hope we didn't make a mistake booking this cruise in January. We sailed the Independence last January
How was your trip?

While I would agree that the Windjammer buffet is not "the best" on Oasis or Allure, was "bananas in a bowl by the ketchup and mayo" REALLY a disaster?
Oh...the humanity! The very minimum was offering mustard with the complimentary condiments!

Those are twin beds pushed together?

Looking forward to another fun trip. We enjoyed the Piano Lounge very much...nice, comfortable.:)

I have never sailed Freedom so EVERYTHING will be new to me. Can't wait for embarkation in January 2017
