Cruise planner seems to be down again today. I’d much rather look at something online than call.

Mine are grown, but my best advice is to manage expectations frequently, before leaving home, before leaving the room for the day, before bed. Talk about what treats are “free” (already paid for in the cruise price) and what cost extra. Even young kids can grasp that money isn’t unlimited. I used to link good behavior (going to the kids club or leaving the pool without flipping out) with rewards like arcade tokens and face painting. Three soda packages is a crazy amount of sugary drinks, imho. There is almost unlimited soft serve and fun pool time every day. ! That in itself would have made me the happiest kid in the world.

Now get off my lawn.

You won’t have a problem getting drinks. There isn’t a time limit or anything.

Wow!! I guess I waaaaayyyy overtip? I’m just so happy that someone cleans my bathroom and makes my bed every day that I usually give $10 every other day or so and more at the end if I’m happy, which I always am. I just love the towel animals.

This last trip my card didn’t work so well and my steward dropped what he was doing to open my door like 10 times. He was my cruise hero.

Anyone else that would have left him and went alone?

I reserved a clamshell to make sure my group could get onto one of the first tenders, but I don’t know if this was necessary, as I got there later than expected and the staff wasn’t checking tender times (that I could tell).

When I had the non-alcoholic drink package, I just asked bartenders to make me something special that was included. Some frozen, some rocks. It was super fun!!

Is there a type of balcony cabin on Oasis that is best to fit three small adult sisters? We realize it will be tight. I’ve never been on this class of ship and am confused about the differences in the types of cabins and third beds.

I loved the solo cabin and lounge. So cozy. I now prefer then to insides, and having the meet up and our own cruise director was amazing. I had a “core group” of four for most of the week and a different group each night at dinner. I met some really great people.

What do you all put in your GPS to get to the boat? My ride wants to know.

I’ll be about 100 miles west from the port. Hopefully car fire free? I’m definitely using the Waze ap. It’s real time traffic info that gives the best routes including alternatives around car fires and the like.

Like, get you an “uncooked” one and cook it in a closer kitchen or grab one off the buffet and stick it on a plate? I think I’d just go to the buffet.

Sorry to hijack. Is the coffee machine in the studio lounge available 24/7? I have a coffee problem.

Real scrambled eggs? I’m guessing you mean from a fresh cracked egg vs a carton?
