  1. I just booked my select dining. I entered all the Guest, Time, Location data and proceded to a page where I checked the Checkout button.

I received an error notice that my credit card information was not accepted (the prior page said there was not credit card information needed)...

I left the page, Logged back in, went to my reservation, checked order status and there they were, all seven...

SO, event though you are getting an error right at the end, you might be getting the reservations made...

Post Script, I just now received a confirmation email...

  2. Thanks for the post on the Silhouette. Glad to hear you liked it so much. We've done the Solstice and enjoyed it a couple years ago...

We've signed up for the Connections Roll Call (only 8 couples so far).

  3. Sue & I have visited Nassau/CoCoCay every month of the year except July. Have had a couple cool January/February visits, but the sun's always warm...

The Enchantment 3 and 4 day cruises out of Port Canaveral are our favorite getaways. A half days drive and we are there.

We've sailed the Sovereign 3 times, Monarch 11 times and Enchantment 5 times to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral since 2007... We've visited Nassau 26 times and CoCo Cay 19 times.

We really enjoy the Enchantment, for a seventeen year old ship that sails with up to 4,800 passengers each week, we think She's great...

I've got to mention the New Years Eve Cruise on Enchantment...

We did this cruise December 30, 2013, New Years Eve in CoCO Cay and New Years Day in Nassau... We have it booked again in 2014 !

The Enchantment knows how to Party on New Years Eve. Parties about the Ship for any taste, they had two combined bands in the Centrum doing Pop/Rock. They had a Latin band in Boleros, They had the Ship's Ochestra doing Big Band music in the Spotlight Lounge and a Pianist in the Schooner Bar. Every host/hostess started bringing out trays of complimentary Champaign about 11:45pm. There was a Buffet on the Pool Deck at 12:15am and if you were wondering what was happening in the Viking Crown Lounge, well, they started a Disco Party about 12:15AM (The First Party of 2014) that went, I'm Told, until 5AM... Reyno, the Concierge, had a party in his lounge too...

The Enchantment is just a FUN ship.

  4. This past May, My Wife and I and three friends needed to transfer from a London Hotel to Hawich to pick up our ship..

We used Eddie Manning's, London, Heathrow, Gatwick and Cruise Terminal Transfer Service. Online at www.limo.co.uk

Courteous Driver picked us up at our Hotel right on time, trip to terminal was great, even a rest stop.

You can send him an inquiry online... Some might say he's a bit expensive, but it was worth it.

  10. There is really a big difference between the two

Freedom, 154K Tons, 1112' Length, 126' Beam, 15 Passenger Decks, 3600 Passengers, Maiden Voyage 2006.

Enchantment, The Enchantement was stretched 90' in 2005, the only vision class to received this upgrade. post 2005, 82K Tons, 988' Length, 106' Beam, 11 Passenger Decks, 2,446 passengers.

Enchantment does two cruises every week 3 & 4 Days to Nassau & CoCo Cay, that means over 4,800 passengers each week...

Freedom is doing 7 day cruises.

The Freedom would probably be my first consideration, from Ontario, how long do you want to be away from home... Is 3/4 day enough...

The Enchantment, 3 and 4 day cruises out of Port Canaveral are our favorite getaways.

A half days drive and we are there.

  11. Sue & I did the New Years Cruise on Enchantment last year (New Years Eve in CoCo Cay, New Years Day in Nassau then a day to recuperate), we had such a good time, we're booked again for this years New Year's cruise.

Enchantment is a stretched Vision Class and I imagine New Year's Eve activities are the same. On New Years Eve, Enchantment had parties all about the Ship for any taste, they had two combined bands in the Centrum doing Pop/Rock. They had a Latin band in Boleros, They had the Ship's Ochestra doing Big Band music in the Spotlight Lounge and a Pianist in the Schooner Bar. Every host/hostess started bringing out trays of complimentary Champaign about 11:45pm. My favorite martini is made with Bombay Saphire... I found a bartender in the Shcooner Bar that made one just right... (Not so much the bar as the Bartender).

    Enjoy the New Year's Cruise

  14. You will receive a card with all the details in your cabin usually the day of check-in onboard...

Most times it's the first sea day in the Viking Crown Lounge, however, I've seen it other days during the itinerary and different locations.

  15. Sometimes we just spend the day aboard and enjoy some of the onboard activities.

A lot of times it will be a walk about town, visit some favorite shops, and have lunch at Sr. Frogs.

Both of us are retired so our schedule makes it easy to get some really good last minute deals on those 3/4 day cruises. Sometimes it costs less to cruise 4 days that stay at home for a week/weekend.

  18. This past Monday, My Wife & I used the May BOGOHO promotion to book a Balcony Stateroom on the 7 Day Western Caribbean on the Navigator out of Galveston in January 2015.

We had an open booking that we purchased on board late last year.

    We are also Diamond +..

We received the D+ On board Booking Bonus of $250 on my fare, We received the BOGOHO on wife's fare (half a cruise fare). And a 100 OBC for the On board Booking Bonus..

What a Deal.. And we get to visit relatives in Texas.

  19. If the Maître d gives you an extra 15 to 30 minutes to the scheduled dining time then the Captain should give eveyone an extra 15 to 30 minutes to board after scheduled ship's departure time. That also means the Shows scheduled to start at 7PM can start anytime between 7 and 7:30... When there are thousands of cruisers onboard, I'll bet there are scheduled times for a good reason...

Can you imagine the Main Dining Room operating like the Buffet at the top of the ship...

Sorry for the rude response but after 25 years in the Armed Forces, if you weren't early, you were late..
