    Transportation to beach and beach recommendations.

    If you are going to go to Condado Beach you might as well find a beach in NY, If you can find a way to get to any other beach ( Taxi, Rental Car ) You will not be sorry. I've always said if you go to PR try to go into the country side if you have time. It is so beautiful and the water on the beaches are so crystal clear.

     

     

    Ok, not a fan of Conrado that's ok!

    So that's the name of some of the other beaches you recommend?

    South Beach hotel for 1 night post cruise

    I have looked over and over and just keeping more confused, help!!

    We are 4 ladies traveling and will be staying Oct. 11th. We would like something oceanfront but would like to be near shopping and people watching. I had been told to on to Lincoln Road, is that close to the oceanfront hotels? Any recommendations?

    We are going 1 night early and staying over an extra night. Pre-cruise I think we are doing the Doubletree POM, thanks to many good comments on here. My question is this, what exactly is there to do at South Beach, other than the beach? We have exotic eastern cruise so we will have great beaches and might be looking to just hang out at a pool the last day in Miami. It will also be a detox period before we go home, so not looking to do any clubs. With that brief summary, would be be better going back to Doubletree or trying South Beach?

    Hotel Recommendation near POM

    We stayed at Doubletree and was very happy with the hotel. If you get a room with a bay view, you will be able to see the ships come in and leave in the afternoon. There were some good restaurants in the hotel. Also, it was only a couple block walk to a Publix Market.

    Let me see if I understand all this. I will buy a gift card to pay off my balance on my already booked cruise. I then will get a gift card for 10% of that amount. Can I put that gift card on my S & S card to be used for on board purchases? But not for tips and the cheers program.

    Is the senior discount offered very often?

    I've seen the "Old Timers" discount a number of times, but it seems that some other discount always trumps it. I qualify for the military, senior, Florida State Resident, and almost any other discount that you can think of. As noted above, when looking at prices, there is a place to enter all the discounts that you might qualify for, and then the prices for the best ones will come up.
