I have never been to SJ since we arrive at 7 am and I don't expect being up and ready to get off the ship for a while later, I just want an easy beach day anyone ever been there?

What city is the TV channel in the staterooms, I think it used to be Denver.

Does anyone have any recents photos of the lido deck, I saw the pictures from the website and it looks like the tiered seating is gone. Also, we are looking at the Spa deck, any thoughts or advice on it?

Since this is Carnival's island and we will be on a Carnival ship stopping there, do we have to pay for food and drinks while on the island? OK, people humor me, I have just started looking into this stop and don't really know anything about it.

If you google Victor Boddden, you will get the website information. We just returned from the Legend and had an outstanding day on Roaton. Our guide was Lionel and he was fantastic. He showed us around the island and shared so much information about his homeland. We did the monkey visit ( they love fruit loops ) and went to the beach where we chilled, rode the banana boat, and basically didn't want to leave.

 

Lionel was a wonderful tourguide. You will have a great visit to this beautiful island. I would recommend Victor Bodden tours highly. You won't be disappointed!

We are booked for the Holiday Inn Rocky Point, just the night before we leave, so no need for alot of hotel extras, do kow anything about this hotel??

I checked with Holiday Inn and they would do the same package for 129.00, but that's just a standard room. I guess it depends on how many you need to sleep on that night, it would be fine for we only have 4 ppl and won't be getting there until 6:30 or so that night before.

I wold like to see if anyone else checks in here that has used the Holiday Inn before I book either.

I am also trying to decide between Chase Suites and the Hoilday Inn, both have the ship to shore packages, any thoughts?

Has anyone did the Chase Suites ship and shore package? That's where they pick you up at the airport , take you to the ship the next morning and pick you up at the ship on return and take you back to the airport.

How about Baked Alaska?
