Since most cruises are 7 days or more and we give a liberal 2 hours for the drill, this consists of less than .02% of the lost cruise time.
Now, if you don’t go to the drill and there is a disaster and panic with people not knowing what to do, I’m not sure how to calculate that lost life and limb time.

Our butler brought and setup video games for our kids. We had them stock our fridge with soda and water. We switched out our champagne with red wine. He made dinner reservation for us, switched our excursion tickets for us.

Our cost was much less than $300 per day. Once you include the 4 perks (tips, OBC, internet and premium beverage pkg) it brings it closer. But to each their own. I ❤️ being spoiled.

We had an entirely different experience. The first time was before the “Suite Life.” We had a great butler. He appeared every time we needed him, sometimes even before we called.
We had breakfast in our suite everyday but the rest of the meals we dined in on of the restaurants. (No one should see me before my first cup of coffee.)
Since the “Suite Life,” each trip, Micheal’s Club was great. We never had a problem and always received personal service. Since there were so few people, and the same ones every night, the bartenders came to know our tastes and even made custom drinks for us to try. Needless to say, we rarely used any other bar besides Michael’s.
Same with Luminae. It was marvelous. The service was spot on. The sommelier was amazing.
Some things I would keep in mind is setting expectations. Embarkment day is crazy. Asking for special services those days could take a bit more time for them to do. Even in the Royal Suite, when we asked to switch out our champagne with wine, our butler looked at us politely and stated he will do it as soon as he could.
FYI. Don’t think that the top suites are the only ones who get the attention and the best staff. Our butler in our first Sky Suite was far better than any of the others.

It was 1998, the year after the movie Titanic came out. As we cast off, my jaw dropped when I heard the music they were playing, the theme to the movie.

We brought our kids, 7 and 10, on the last two cruise. They loved the kids zone. P.S. I felt we were treated better because we had (well behaved) little ones.

I usual go with a long formal dress for one of the two nights. The other night I will wear a shorter dress but still lace or sequins. I agree with CBC at sea, go all out!

We did the Royal Suite with our 5 and 7. There was plenty of room and it was less expensive since they were the third and fourth people. And they had all the perks of being in a suite including the fridge being stocked with their favorite sodas.

If you are interested in utilizing the Fun Factory, they offer VIP passes for backstage and bridge tours for the kids.

We stayed at the JW Marriott last year and booked it again this year. Rooms are great and the view of the port is nice. We were able to see our ship docked.
My opinion of Marriott Biscayne Bay is a little biased since the upgraded us to the bedroom suite over looking the water. I still dream of that room.

Unlike others, i didn't go straight to the spa. It was later that day when I tried to purchase a pass. I was told they were all sold. So get there early.

...For those cruisers who are without PERKS or "perk less," you may be allowed to purchase an elevator pass with your OBC. There will only be a limited number of passes for each sailing, so make sure that you sign up and pay, at least 24 hours after your luggage arrives. These passes are good for either up or down and pass for the length of the cruise. You are able to receive your pass if you can prove that you are perkless, are the first in your family to sail and have used an elevator in the past. You will receive a special permit to board any elevator on the ship...remember that there are only a limited number being sold. If you don't get one this time, you are out of luck! Ask any crew member for details as soon as you board... ***This pass can be discontinued at any time for any reason! (fine print) Sorry, but our ropes have not arrived from our distributor...

Well according to OP, the only ones to get the passes are the perkless people.
Where do I register my complaints? I am in a suite. I paid enough. I should get a pass. To heck with every else. They can use the ropes.[emoji3]

I need to hear your cat's comments about being abandoned for a week.

I don't think I have the dailies, but some activities they had were talent show, backstage tour, bridge tour, and family game night. We were on the Infinity in September to Hubbards Glacier.
Do you have any questions?

Try searching about the Fun Factory. The thread mentioned is nerve wracking, but I have never seen a bad review until this one.

My kids loved the Fun Factory (6 and 9.) Since X is usually focused on a more mature crowd, there isn't much activities for kids outside of the FF. But the counselors are great, they keep them active from morning to evening and even so late night pajama parties (until 1:00 am.) My kids practically dragged us out of bed so they could get there first thing. And we were dragging them out at night.
The only little complaint I had was the family activities weren't well announced. The kids put on a talent show and only half the parents showed up because it wasn't posted as you sign in.

I also think Zenith should be allowed in Luminae. I can't believe that would be much of a strain on the restaurant. For people who have achieved this level for being such loyal clients, they deserve something extra.

For the kids, depending on the ages, Fun Factory will keep them busy. There is always something going on depending on your interests.

I have never had an issue with finding a nice wine by the glass. And I am a wine snob. If your ship has a Cellar Masters on it, you really shouldn't have any troubles. Talk to the sommelier, they are usually very helpful.
I'm wondering if Celebrity might have a substitute solution for a Coravin for their guests on board.

I have book direct flight from korea to tacoma. About celebrity transfer service, how much does it cost?
thank you

I don't if there is a way to book a transfer without buying your flight through Choice Air. If it was me, I would rebook the flight for the previous day.

In Ketchikan we did the Alaska Sea Cycle tour. You can book it on your own or through the ship. Our 9 year old LOVED it.

We are in a sky suite. Are we allowed to use Barefoot Beach cabanas or is this only for the upper suites?
