  1. just back from infinity cruise visited alesund ship docks right in centre lovely quaint town there was a market and boat show on with live music at the time ,good range of shops the steps up to mount askla viewpoint are in the park and are great for viewing but not for those with a problem with heights enjoy ,ps if you go to OLDEN you just have to visit briksdal glacier its a fantastic hike up there and back stunning scenery but be prepared to get wet !

  2. im soon to be on infinity and want to celebrate the evening of my wifes birthday in ss united states ,my question is we have a premium drinks package so i dont see the point in ordering a bottle of wine and having to pay extra or having the tasting menu with chosen wines at a surcharge ,would my lack of investment du vin be frowned upon if i were to just take advantage of my drinks package in there ?

  3. we are on celebrity infinity dep harwich uk july 4th 2014. oslo we have been before and done hoho bus,so this time we are doing the guided tour of the opera house (a passion of ours) flam we cant decide wether to train plus hike back or train plus cycle back ? alesund we hope to get to the viewing point behind and above the town ,so we are looking for a boat trip to do and maybe a hiking trip to do also in gerainger, bergen, olden or possibly stavanger although weve heard that a mooch (thats stroll)round town is nice there ,any advice to the above especially the flam decision would be helpful .:)

  4. we want to do the flam train excursion and either hike or bike back it seems the hiking option doesnt include train all the way to myrdal but only to vatnahalsen where as the biking goes all the way to myrdal ,and advice tips etc .ps on a fjords cruise has anyone any thoughts on what would be the best boat trip excursion to take ?:)

  6. hello there is the aksla viewpoint walkable from the cruise terminal ? and could a possible route take in some of the hilites of the town or would transport be the best way to get to aksla and back leaving time to explore the town ,we only really want to do aksla and wander round the pretty town ,and notdo the HOHO bus .

  7. cheers thankyou for that good advice ,i was that soldier ! i am at present trying to learn basics of THE and may make a venture all be it tentativly onto a table onboard if it all goes horribly wrong lol i can run back to 3 card and loose slowly haha, have you ever played bastard brag as a fun party game with a small gambling edge #? maybe its called something else in the usa ,anyway ty again

  8. sounds good advice dave i do genrally look for q-8 or better to proceed trouble is i keep getting 5-2 lol i jest its not that bad haha ,i do set myself strict nightly limits tho and dont touch slots roulette or that totally weird game no brit seems to work out (crabs/craps )my games of choich are 3 card poker caribbean stud i do love hold em but have never played on a cruise as it looks to dangerous ,i also love going to the lounges and trying to introduce folk to bastard brag ! another game i really like although it can be frustrating too ,:)

  9. wow that sounds the kind of casino night we all aspire too WTG, my good luck times as a smalltime gambler have been way less ,1,on a cruise round malaysia superstar gemini i won a jackpot prize at the blackjack table for getting dealt four consecutive 7s if id of got the fith apparently id of been rich lol i thin i won around $1000 tho,was a while ago so hazy and time sometimes exagerates lol.2/ pulled 4 aces in carribean stud on the qm2 luckily i had the insurance bet as the house didnt qualify ,and finally played carribean stud in a hotel in kenya after a cruise myself a 3 friends i won about $60 us the other 3 guys about $100 between them the casino couldnt pay us out they had to go to a hotel next door and borrow the extra cash how funny ! we went back and helped them recoup next night

  10. id love to learn how to play the game ,at present i play a 3-5 handed game just for fun where the stake is £10 we divide the chips and winner takes all its a social thing between friends ,which we then follow with one game of 9 card brag and one game of bastard brag a few beers and a chat this is our night out ,but i do yearn to get a better grasp of hold em and experiance a game do any of the cruise lines offer lessons and games where novices wouldnt feel out of their depth ?
