  1. From the Carnival Website:

On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.

Hope this info. helps, and best wishes for safe travels!

And by "each guest" I am assuming that means both me and my bf may bring a 12-pack of soda (in different carry-ons obviously)?

  2. I have only been on Royston's tour and if you're concerned about not having AC, I wouldn't worry about. We were there last month and it was not hot at all. I loved his tour. In my signature is a link for my review that has pictures from St. Kitts. If you contact Royston ahead of time, he might be able to suit a tour just for your group. He's pretty flexible. The lunch he provided was awesome and provided drinks as well. Had a great time. It was probably my favorite tour of the trip! Have a great cruise!

  3. We toured with Cosol last week and Bumpy was also our driver. It was an awesome tour. I read on CC that someone had said, "Don't let the price drive you away." And they were right. We forked over the money and a $30 tip.:) It was highlight of our cruise until we took Royston's tour in St. Kitts. These two were my favorites!

  4. Aplmac - I will take your word for it. I went back to Carnival and on Deck 14 it only shows "Skylight" and "Slide Entrance". On Deck 12 it only shows "Club Oz" "Camp Carnival" and "mini golf". Nothing that says serenity.

But like I said, I BELIEVE YOU.

  5. I know it must have been mentioned somewhere in the previous 78 pages but can someone tell me where the Serenity Area is located on the Victory? I looked at the deck plans on Carnival's website but didn't see anything that said "Serenity". I hoping to snag a chair on our one and only sea day! ;)

  6. So I was considering Cosol because of all the great reviews here, but I'm really having doubts. Looking at tripadvisor at cosol tours and sorting by rating, there are a number of bad reviews and things that were mentioned were seriously concerning to me, since I'd be going with children. Like dirty bathrooms, people on the beach smoking dope, that you only really stop for a few minutes, one person said the driver they had (which was not cosol) was hostile, another said their driver didn't tell them anything, another said the fresh local bread and cheese was cheese slices and a couple breadsticks.

Also, I find it very suspcious that of all the tours on St. Lucia on that site Cosol has 348 reviews and the next best rated one (James I believe) only 30. Lots of people with 1 review make me think he just goes on and gives himself good reviews. I am concerned they could be doing that here as well.

Someone point out that the reviews earlier in this thread mentioned the blue bus and the rum punch a lot and that maybe they were very free flowing with the alcohol and that made the tour seem much better in everyone's eyes. (Not that I have a problem with that, but we aren't going as a couple)

Anyone go on this tour and not drink? Would you recommend this for small children?

I'll try and remember to answer your post when I get back. I am going as a couple but don't drink :)

  7. I hate to break it to you, but you need a taxi to get from the ship to Sheraton Old San Juan. Cruises that begin and end in San Juan use the Pan American pier. Cruises that make a call at San Juan dock across the street from the Sheraton Old San Juan.

That's weird because my Princess cruise in 2007 began and ended in San Juan and it docked across the street from the Sheraton OSJ and my Nov Carnival Victory cruise does the same thing. You might just want to double check.

  8. Never used Priceline before and am dizzy from trying to do research here and on betterbidding.com.

The Sheraton OSJ will not let me book through their site for one night (11/12/11). Is it possible to win this hotel FOR THIS ONE NIGHT on priceline. If so, can someone please tell me what I need to key in on priceline for my best chance to win this hotel?
