Were you able to be dropped off at a beach and have him return? I'm just looking for a beach with a bar and time to relax. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  6. I could not find a "list",

but was on the Carnival Freedom first week of Feb'22

there were plenty plenty of tour guides to use.. and no one was "checking" when you got back.

    1/15 - Miami

1/16 - Sea Day - It was supposed to be Half Moon Cay, but there was a crew medical emergency(not Covid) last night, so the ship diverted to Freeport to offload the crew member.  They are refunding the taxes, fees, and port expenses for Half Moon Cay as well as giving us $50 OBC per person.

1/17 - Grand Turk - We will be getting there earlier due to Half Moon Cay getting canceled.

    1/18 - Sea Day

    1/19 - Aruba

    1/20 - Bonaire

    1/21 - Sea Day

    1/22 - Sea Day

    1/23 - Miami

    thank you so much!

How fun!  We will be on the Star in June…our first Viking Ocean cruise…4 have been cancelled so hope this one goes.  Do they do scavenger hunts on all the ships?  Do you sign up ahead of sailing?

    Have fun on your cruise..Pam

I am running this through my FB page group..over 60 people!

but I have seen Carnival run them through their CD.

  9. I have been in contact with the taxi service I use in St. Kitts.

as of a few weeks ago, You are .

allowed to use private taxi service 's,

as long as they are cleared by the govt.

of course the Cruise lines are not going to tell you this,

because they want ALL the $$ they can get from the excursions,

they don't care about the locals, and will not inform their passengers,

because they know people will use them.. (cheaper/ better tour)

I am going in early Feb. planning on using them

    anyone going sooner?

Important to note .. the above is for cruises departing from Barbados not Florida. There is a lot of confusion regarding this so make sure you select the correct departure port when looking at the requirements. Florida departures are required to have a bubble excursion for Nov and December - EDITED for new information that this was added to Florida departure port restrictions:

Note: Fully vaccinated guests visiting St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Kitts may depart the ship to visit the designated, enclosed port area and purchase tours from local independent operators to go into port. Independent tour operators are unaffiliated with Royal Caribbean.

    and thank you for this!!..

As always subject to change, but for December through RCL - St. Kitts, Barbados and St Lucia are exempt.

Going Ashore in Ports of Call

    Tours Required to Go Ashore

Due to current requirements of your itinerary, all guests on December sailings from Barbados will need to book a tour if they wish to go ashore in ports of call, regardless of vaccination status. We will continue to update booked guests and the information on this page as we know more about this requirement for future sailings.

Note: Fully vaccinated guests visiting St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Kitts may depart the ship to visit the designated, enclosed port area and purchase tours from local independent operators to go into port. Independent tour operators are unaffiliated with Royal Caribbean.

    Healthy Shore Excursions

Royal Caribbean has worked with local tour operators to ensure they follow our Healthy Sail Panel health guidance for all Shore Excursions in ports of call. These tours are available at a variety of price points and may be purchased in advance on Cruise Planner or once onboard using the Royal Caribbean App.

    thank you for this!!

When you enter the dining room for breakfast/brunch/lunch or ATD, you give your cabin number.  And yes, they know who has prepaid and who goes to GS and has them removed.  All three of the dining room team share those grats.

    Hello,

I am Platinum cruiser, who for the last 8 + cruises, have not used my credit cards on board, and have set up a cash account. Ship grats are not added till the 2nd to last day, after 1 pm, for all guests who have not yet payed them, (which I gladly do!)  crew is not prevy to your Financial booking info at the MDR desk....I have asked this, and other questions to different Carnival employees in conversations, through the years. personally I don't care.. have always had a great time w the crew... have gotten to know some very well now 🙂

just wish we could get back to cruise'n.....can I get an Amen....
