  1. Hi there would it be possible to do these 2 cruises

thinking of one carnival cruise that ends in Miami on the Oct 31st 2015

    which is usually the morning

i possible have a 2nd cruise starting on Oct 31st with Carnival in Fort Lauderdale, with departure at around 4pm

i assume this is quite possible. to do this.

also does Carnival give discounts if doing 2 cruises with them back to back? thanks

  2. So just recently thought of doing another caribbean cruise. I did one last fall with Norwegian and enjoyed it. Based on best itinaery options, seems i find carnival has best option and lowest price.

Question I ask is i read some reviews about Carnival. Are all the ships very noisy, even in cabins, as in "party them" noisy?

Also do Carnival have highest rate of complaints and problems these days?

would quality of food be worse then Norwegian. just like a question of is it a "get what you pay for" type of cruise, since rates at moment much lower?

    thanks

  3. Hi there would be nice. i think I'm rare. i am a str person who enjoys naturalism but hard to find it, i was at orient beach, not bad. but too small

would be neat if the big cruise lines were open like that, within reason of course

where you could go anywhere natural

however i have to admit i seen some people be a bit not proper at some natural beaches who are just to show off kind of.

anyone let me know of some good naturalist areas on a cruise besides st martini or if anyone finds a cruise with a section, i be interested

    thanks

  4. Looking at some cruises with Carnival, prices seem good of what i was looking at.

However I have read that some people said if you do another cruiseline and do Carnival afterwards, you dont appreciate as much.

I did a cruise last year with NCL, liked it. Would i be able to enjoy a Carnival one after doing NCL? thoughts of who gone back and forth as well?

  5. How long does a Cruise company like a major one like NCL, RCL , Carnival, ETC keep their ships before they hand them down to a smaller company.

Also why do they do this?

Also do only the big companies such as one listed keep a ship as 1st owners? so many of the smaller cruise companies eg, Louis cruise lines etc, use "hand me down ships" etc.

    Is that a normal trend?

  6. Yes the shows were reserved, as they do get filled up. The shows on that ship were legally Blond and the ballroom dancing show, think it was called Burn the Floor, the magic show, is done every day which i think u can just walk in

but if u really want to see those shows, i suggest reserve now.

  7. Just did a cruise with Norwegian. So a question i had, not that i was really needed of the service, on Disembark day , last day. i more less just got off early and carried my bags off with me, which i thought was best and enjoyed it.

But out of cruise proper service? was i supposed to be supplied a form and a tag regardless suppled from Cruiseline etc?

thanks as i never got anything

  8. Hello all, Done 2 cruises so far. Just did one with a major cruise line Norwegian and was good time. So looking at people on here who have cruised lots. I noticed many have jumped around from cruise line to cruise line even people have done a Carnival cruise after doing RCL etc.

So i was wanting to contact some people direct on the experience with different cruiselines

one is for anyone who has done multiple cruise companies, thoughts and suggestions, what did you think was best company? or cruise

and notice many doing Carnival cruises as well back and forth to others? thought CC was the lower end of quality? so feedback please on this

as to comparison of companies as i will be cruise more in future

thoughts and suggestions please and thanks

  9. hi yes Getaway was quite solo friendly. i traveled it as a solo as well

They do have meet and greets for solos on this ship as well, if you wish to check out

    NCL doesn't charge single supplements

also they have solo person rooms called Studios if your interested in that as well

    so go ahead and book

  10. Ok what companies offer Cruises to Antarctica

So I am looking at company that does a land fall on shore for the continent. not just a sail by.

I know it would be more $$$ but like to know a list of cruise lines or expedition ships to consider that offer actual land stops to Antarctica

  11. For cruises to the Asian countries.

Even with the main stream companies like Norwegian. What would be average type of clientel on these cruises? would there be more asian passengers on average?

Also the ships the cruise lines use at the Asian ports, do the ships have more Asian type restaurants or typical cruise ship things?

    Thanks

  12. Just curious as to who would take the police role if a crime happened on a cruiseship while at sea.

Eg. Cruise ship in Caribbean waters. on caribbean cruise

    crime is committed by passenger.

say cruise starts and ends in Miami.

middle of cruise , crime happens.

    who takes responsibility

would the person be handed to next port authorities, eg Bahamas? St Maarten? or would they wait till back to end of cruise etc?

how would that work , curious

  13. Review of Cruise from November 1 to November 7 2014

    Norwegian Getaway

This is my review of my experience on the Norwegian Getaway.

Sailed on Nov 1 2014 as a solo cruise, male

    booked a balcony room.

This being my 2nd ocean liner cruise, 1st was in Europe a few years back on Louis cruises on smaller cruiseship. So first time on a large ship with many amenities.

This cruise was out of Miami with ports being St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau.

So start of first day was very exciting. Getting on this big ship for first time. Overall good experience. would sail with NCL again.

I thought food was good, but way way better in the sit down restaurants. Buffet was good, but what took away from that was the contact cattle herd of passengers there all the time, not the cruise company fault at all, it is what is it.

Yes pool was small, but then again you have to look at the big water park nearby. Lots of slides so that overrides that. I think all cruiseships have different features then others. Stateroom. I had a balcony. Awesome, loved the views, bed was so comfortable. Cabin steward dude was so amazing and knew everyone by first name. Left funny animal shape towels in room.

Will definitely take a cruise with a smaller amount of passengers.

We will also try and go to Nassau again to. at least will make the attempt.

    In short NCL is Fantastic.

Food was Fantastic., Crew was Absolutely great. Entertainment Excellent

    St martin beaches were beautiful,

Did a taxi ride around the island was interesting. St Thomas was beautiful, and ride to top in cablecar very nice provided awesome view.

On ship I did the rock climbing wall, was great. Did the ropes course, with the zip line and walk the plank parts. Did the basketball court. As well ran on running track every morning.

Casino was lots of fun. Good selection of slots and tables. It is too bad they allow smoking on the ship though.

One complaint is the music in general areas was total crap!!!. the top 20 songs over and over again. No need to hear Rihanna on a cruiseship. Thank you very much.

Overall Would sail again with NCL. Would do a different ship and different route just to mix things up and look for a new experience.

  14. ok just at end of present cruise at moment. I been doing the Norwegian Getaway in the Caribbean, Been a great ship, great food and good destinations.

More less eat in the buffet areas and prefer the included food.

However like help in looking for next cruise already.

I am finding even though this cruise is good, it is just too many people. Bumping into people still, Especially in the buffet and eating areas, like a cattle hoarding almost.

I like the cruise though, but like some help in looking at other cruse lines? ships etc. that would offer more quieter experience. perhaps ones that would have the cruise time in around the general public. ? as with this one. where your around with the large population all the time

more less a suggestion of a cruise line that offers more private or smaller group cruises etc. thanks

  15. scheduled for a cruise from miami on nov 1st

might be a hurricane going through

what are types of things cruise line would do if a storm is on day of cruise
