  1. I have a few food allergies. I told my waiter on the first night and from then on he made very sure every night my food was safe for me. He would even let me see the next nights menu so I could order ahead and make sure I didnt have anything I am allergic too.

They were awesome about it!! They also didnt act like it was a hassle at all!

The last thing I wanted was to have a hives outbreak or bust out my epi pen on my honeymoon! They really put my mind at ease. I am sure they will take great care of your nephew as well.

  2. We have flown in the night before a few times when we lived in Oregon.

We spent the night at OIA in their hotel there. Rooms are spacious and it was very quiet. Nice roof top pool to enjoy too. Plenty of food available too.

Next morning we went to the lobby area and checked in for the Disney Cruise line bus which left about 20 minutes after we checked in. Its a fun ride with TV screens throughout the bus playing cartoons and telling you about your upcoming cruise.

We arranged for Disney to go to our room to get our luggage too, so we only had to hassle with our carry on bags.

Then we took the Cruise bus back to the airport after the cruise. It worked great and was well worth the extra money it cost.

Their bus will also take you to WDW after the cruise if your going there too.

This was the other option i was thinking about. Its a Hyatt at MCO right? The prices dont seem too crazy. And i have taken the disney bus from my hotel IN disney, but never from the airport. That might be our best bet. I do feel better having Disney be my transport. Thank you!!

  3. If you are willing to delay your official honeymoon, you can save a bunch by cruising during the off season (school is in session) and there probably will be less children on board, both cruise lines!

As for Remy, put Disney gift cards on your wedding registry. Then use them to pay for upcharges, excursions, etc.

We did a honeymoon registry and there are options for DCL. There are also options for other cruise lines too!

We used honeymoonwishes.com and we loved it!!

  4. We did a 7 day Eastern for our honeymoon in Sept 2013. We also did a week in the parks before that (yeah we are crazy Disney people). :D

I loved loved loved our cruise! We are also 20 somethings and arent into partying much either. Everyone I tell about the cruise asks me "ew isnt it all kids?"

My answer is always, well yeah there are kids, but there are adult areas where you dont see a kid all day. The kids so the kid stuff and the adults do the adult stuff.

Because its Disney, they of course treated us like royalty because it was our honeymoon. We requested a table for 2 because it was our honeymoon and we got a table for 2.

It was also Sept, so the ship wasnt at capacity, but i assume in July any ship with any line could be at capacity.

We loved it so much we booked another cruise from the ship. We sail in 193 days on the Dream.

Congrats! I'm sure whatever you choose will be magical!

  5. We are cruising the Disney Dream in December. Because we are flying from New England (weather issues possible in December), I want to fly down the day before the cruise. Has anyone every done a "fly snooze cruise" package?? I was looking at the Hilton Oceanfront. Does anyone have any experience with a package like this? Good or bad??

    Thanks in advance!!
