with a perfectly good terminal and pier in baytown, why don't they sink a few million in that and build it up. Just a little ways up the bay and no problems getting from the airports in houston over there.

I can't read the whole Galveston Daily News article. Is it just the new terminal that RCI is asking for, or will they also have to dredge to make the port deeper?

yes it a new place east of where they are now it is where the banana boat dock is now around 16th 17th 18 th street the building and warehouse and everything would have to be redone + the banana company would have to move to make room rcc is in talks with the city and the port about the plans to expand

You do realize you’re being entirely subjective, right? It may not feel different for you, but it does for me. Just because formal night has no meaning in your mind, doesn’t mean the same is true for other people. Everything is about your own perspective. Sure other people may not dress up, and that’s fine, I couldn’t care less what other people choose to do. However, for me and my family, it is still a special, and formal experience where we go all out, and enjoy and feel great doing so. Guess it’s all about your own intention and mindset. But please don’t tell other people that formal night is meaningless and nothing, because again, that’s your own opinion.
