I noticed the LoS which departed Bayonne yesterday is sitting in New York Harbor the next morning. Does anyone have any information as to what is going on?
Thanks

Thank you. When you say ships time is that the port that it sails from, like Bayonne, Eastern Time?

I know there is a first day you can check in for a cruise. How many days in advance cab you do it to get a check in time?

The latest in RCCL downgrading its produced. First they no longer have the evening cabin cleaning so they can fire half their housekeeping staff, now their elite members lose another benefit. I think they are learning from the airlines how to alienate their best customers. I recently sailed on Celebrity and found a far superior service, food, product and as an Elite member there they offered a great benefit. I suggest you consider leaving RCCL since they have left us, and going to Celebrity. I am done with RCCL since they are done with me.

We usually tip extra, but not a huge amount. I also don't buy the posters who say they tip $100 extra. There are a few who virtue signal on this site so don't believe everything you read. It costs them nothing to say they do. 🙂
You may believe me or not, your choice, but if I have received excellent service on a 7 day cruise, I do tip the cabin attendant $100.00. I paid more for my wifi and they worked hard for it.
You can believe people or chose not to

If they give me good service, I always give them an extra tip, and also to the dining room waiters/staff. Their salaries are so low and even with the pooled tip their income is low. If I can spend that amount of money on the cruise, drinks, internet, etc, I can and will always give them extra for good service.

On Sunday, Oct 9, the Harmony pushed off from the dock in Port Canaveral, and then pushed back in, it never went forward. Anyone know what happened?

I am a Diamond Plus on RCCL, does that make any difference on Celebrity, any perks? If so, where do I register my RCCL Crown and Anchor nunber?

Thanks for the heads up, I did it for AA with the AA card and wondered if I would get free bags, I guess not.

To see the Statue of Liberty, that is a great treat for the passengers. I recently sailed from that pier on RCCL Anthem and could only see the Statue in the fr distance. A great thing from Celebrity

I have noticed on several Saturday's the Summit after leaving the berth in Bayonne, NJ, does not make a right and go out under the Verrazano bridge to the ocean, but makes a left and starts up the Hudson river to Manhattan, passing the NCL Joy coming down from Manhattan. Why does it do this?

I called RCCL 3 time recently and the Call Center was in Guatemala (I asked them). Very nice people, but weak on their language and comprehension skills. Any other countries you have encountered?
-
I may be mistaken but it looks like the Anthem did not sail on 5/1/22?
-
I am sure this has been answered but I could not find it. Why has the Noordam been in port in Ft Lauderdale for several days?
-
I was on the Anthem 2 weeks ago in New Jersey, and they made you wait for you time standing outside

Charleston must be unlucky for RCCL. A few years ago I was there on the Grandeur and as we were docked, they dropped a lifeboat, which sank, and they could not recover it. An expensive place for their ships.

The ship was suppose to sail around 9:00 PM, but it seems like it did not sail until into the next morning. Does anyone know why it was so late in departing? They will be very late for Coco Cay.

No visual on her behind AOS.

I am on the Anthem of the Seas and in following our position I see that the Getaway which was ahead of us on the way to New York is now behind us and it looks on Cruise mapper, that the Getaway diverted to Portsmouth and is now back at sea. Any idea if this is true and if so why?

if the EU blocks Americans from entering, then any cruises (Italy, Spain, etc) will not be possible for Americans.

I am canceling my November Transatlantic on the Explorer, With the possibility of the return of the virus in the Fall I will not take the chance of illness or sailing around looking for a port to land it.

And if you take the FCC and RCL goes bankrupt, what good is the FCC at that time?

If they are going to cancel through June ( and I am sure they will) I would like to know so I can apply for a refund for my May cruise and begin the process of getting a refund which seems to take a lot of time. I want to begin the process and have the money available for other uses. Just be upfront with me

Holland- America, Seabourn have all announced that all cruises are canceled through June 30. Carnival announced a delayed date also. Why can't RCCL just be upfront about the date and stop this game. I feel a lack of honesty and trust in RCCL for their games. Other lines are much more honest with the passengers.

Liberty Anchored in New York Harbor?
in Royal Caribbean International

Are the seas so very rough off the Carolina cost? A Disney ship made it to Bermuda, then it comes from Florida not New York. Where is it so bad?
