Where is the Zaandam heading now that all the pax's are off? Various sites indicate San Antonio, Chile, which cannot be right. Where to now?

If a TA charges a cancelation fee if the PASSENGER cancels their cruise that is part of the contract, that is understandable. HOWEVER, if the cruise line cancels a cruise, that is different. The passenger did not cancel the cruise, the cruise line did. Let the TA charge the one who chose to cancel - the cruise line, NOT the passenger.

Your local TV stations are good for you local people, but not for the rest of the country. We have nothing

If RCCL cancels the cruise, it is not me who canceled it, so why should I pay even a "cancelation fee" since I did cancel it? Then, let me sail on the cruise. I do not understand how a TA can charge you a cancelation fee if you did not cancel it. Let them charge RCCL. UNITED cruises does this.

I booked a cruise though UNITED Cruises. If my cruise is canceled will I get a refund or a FCC? If a FCC do I then have to book a cruise through UNITED or can I use the FCC for a booking with RCCL directly? Thank you

What cruise were you on for May 23? Was it the Grandeur? I am on that and hoping it will be canceled and get some money back.

I would well imagine that when the crew received the letter they expected that it would address their concerns, especially in regards to pay. As I read it I kept waiting for some of the valid concerns of the crew to be addressed. It never did.
I would rate this person and his letter as cruel.

On March 14 I read that most cruise lines are stopping all sailings for some 30-60. days, some as recent as today. Once passengers get off the ship and since no new ones are boarding, where will those ships stay for the 30+ days? Not all can remain docked. Will some just go out and sail around?

Was everyone onboard, including crew, cleared of the virus?

What is the purpose of them? Just to show your level or are the staff suppose to give you something extra?

I sent an e-mail to SpecialNeeds at HAL, and they confirmed distilled water and and extension cord in my cabin.

Tug on starboard and stern. What is up with that? Have not seen that before

on January 11, 2019, the ship sailed from the port at 8:00 AM? Was it just a port call overnight or was there a problem starting the cruise the afternoon before? It is unusual for a cruise ship to sale from there in the AM.

They do not provide the cord, you have to bring it, and I just take about a six foot cord. A little longer to be safe.

Thank you, good to know, I had just never seen a ship arrive that late.

It is January 1, and 8:30 AM, and I see that the ESCAPE is just docking in Miami. I have never seen a ship arrive this late. Did something happen to make it so late?

I have not found any ship that has a plug by the head of the bed. They do not plan for CPAP machines. I always carry a heavy extension cord to plug in by the desk and run to the bedside table.

We are completing a 12 day transatlantic crossing coming into San Juan. The itinerary had to be changed due to storms, New ports, supplies, entertainers, etc, all had to be rearranged to meet the cruise. They did a very good job on that. What did they NOT arrange - the blue and white US Custom Forms for the some 2,000 passengers. The ship's explanation is that it will go very quickly for everyone to get the forms in the terminal and fill them out, it will not add any time to the disembarkation. I stand there incredulous. 2,000 people looking for forms, filling them out without pen or tables, writing on people's back, and they say it does not take any extra time or bother? That is because they are not going through it.
They could plan for a whole new itinerary but not to have some pieces of paper shipped to the ship.
It proves that once you step off their ships RCCL does not care what happens. They will blame it on the US Customs agents. It is RCCL's fault.

The e-mail also stated that any paid for cruise tours and port taxes would be refunded to your on board account, NOT the credit card which paid cash for those tours and taxes. Basically, RCCL is keeping your money if you do not have any on board charges. Totally unacceptable.

The Jewel is changing its transatlantic sailing due to storms. I can appreciate that. They are changing ports and said that booked and paid tours and port taxes will be refunded, but to your on board credit, not to the credit card which poaid cash for them. I find this totally unacceptable that RCCL is basically keeping the money since if you do not use all on board credit it is not refunded.

The transatlantic cruise itinerary for the Jewel has changed due to storms. I can appreciate the need for that. What bothers me greatly is that any booked tours and refunded port taxes will not be refunded to your credit card, but only to your on board account for you to spend. This is theft. I paid for those things directly with cash through a credit card and now RCCL is holding that money captive for themselves. If you do not use it all, they keep it. Out and out theft.

You would think they would get it stabilized and fully working before they released it, but they DID NOT. It is very unprofessional to do it this way. They should have a sign saying that it is in the works and not completed yet. It looks like it is jsut a messed up website.

It is now Saturday, 11:00 PM and from looking at the websites, the Pride is probably about 1-2 hours from the dock in Baltimore so they will be tied up by midnight or so. Certainly the "waves" would not be anything at the dock, the rain may be another story, but should be gone by the morning. Should be fine.

May 11 is the posted date of all cruises canceled. When will RCCL announce the next date of cancelations ?
