It seems I always have a cruise booked and thinking about others.

20 days and counting.

We are not regular CCL cruisers but recently did an 11 night repositioning cruise on the Legend, my husband wore a sport jacket every night, except formal night and I wore a cocktail dress every night. Many people, men and ladies were well dressed on that cruise. Had someone said anything negative, I would have been hard pressed not to give it back to them, in spades.

I absolutely loved Brook's dress last night in the finale, I am going to have to search on line for it. I wanted Jack to win, he wasn't the best dancer but he was most improved week over week, I'm disappointed.

There is a vintage QM2 puzzle for sale on eBay as well.

I can 't wait for the next installment!

Legend is going to dry dock in the spring, I hope they add another specialty restaurant.

I have ordered several items, mostly dresses, the quality for the most part is very good and I love the styles. Also, their sales are great and I check often online.

We are leaving tomorrow and I am bringing 12 for an 11 night. Choices...

I have the Jack Rogers sandals in 3 colors, I really like the gold ones, very versatile.

That dress is beautiful! I might have to order it too. We are doing an 11 day repositioning cruise in October and a segment of the 2014 World Cruise on the Queen Elizabeth, 19 days and our longest cruise to date. I can pull that dress off, I think. I am 58 and am in pretty good shape and majorly working on it for that trip!

We have a cruise booked in January, the QE from Ny to SF. We are on vacation now; I want to lose about 15 pounds and will be Starting when we get back on Sunday.

Sadly, most in the Caribbean since we've been to all countless times (except Barbados and Yost Van Dyke which we love)

I don't think that the dress is flattering (don't mean to insult you) but I am giving you my honest opinion. You are small and I would go for something more stylish that shows off your figure.

I was able to grab 1140 today for the June 30th sailing, thanks for all the great information!

Oh and speaking of cruises, DH and I are wanting to do 2 more cruises on Carnival to be grandfathered in for platinum before the end of this year is up. So, we have our yearly anniversary one in 2 months, and then we are seriously thinking of doing one in Sept. so our then 18mo. old can go (yayayay) and then try a Thanksgiving one. I am not so sure on the latter one, because of the price. Anyone know if it is really worth double the price?

We just did the Christmas/New Years cruise on the QM2, it wasn't double the price but about 1/4 more. I would do one of 2 things. Book it now if you want a cabin that you really want and watch for price drops like a hawk or wait, the prices will likely drop.

Dress wife, you both look fantastic!

Re: dinner at your grandfather's, instead of eating before because you don't like pinto's, why not bring some grilled or roasted veggies or a big salad for everyone to enjoy. Just a thought.

Great dress, love it!

21 days!

Hello Everyone! We are leaving in less than 40 days and I finally decided upon my 2 formal dresses. It has been such great fun lurking here and checking out all of the pretty dresses. I have recently lost 40+ lbs so for the first time it was also fun trying on and buying dresses as in the past it was something I hated to do. For now, these are the pics from the websites but will try to get pics of myself in them although they need a bit of altering.

 

Question on the blue one - I am thinking of shortening it to tea-length if it is even still called that. What do you all think?

I'm not sure about shortening that to a tea length, especially with the slit on the side, I think it would change the overall look of the dress and might look a little off, but that's JMHO.
