I have read that we need reservation for Snack Mahana in Moorea but I haven't found a way to contact them. Can somebody help me out? It sounds perfect for the day we have our car rental.

I found these two websites for Avis rentals on Papeete. Are they the same company? The prices are quite different. Avis-Tahiti is much more expensive but includes free shuttle from hotel. Any experience with either would be appreciated.

How do you recommend getting to the public beach next to the Hilton? Or should we plan this stop for the day we are renting a car? Is parking a problem?

i am trying to decide on cabin type for this cruise.

If I get regular stateroom, will I have trouble finding place to sit while cruising where I can watch the scenery? I read that sun deck is closed for much of this cruise due to low bridges.

Are there chairs in staterooms with French balcony? Is there room to bring these onto balcony?

Is balcony worth the $3500 upcharge from regular stateroom? Do you get a lot of use from it?

We fly out of Newark so lots of flights are available. Thanks for all of the input. It makes me feel more comfortable taking free flight offer. Now if only I can accept paying 6 months in advance. I've cruised many times and have never had to pay more than 90 days in advance. I couldn't believe it when Viking originally wanted payment more than a year in advance.
