Congrats on the perfect Beatles trivia score! I am impressed with you, I am a lifelong Beatles fan and couldn't have done that well although I did score 14/15 on a Beatles trivia one time. Of course someone got a perfect score. Perhaps it was you! I was convinced I was going to marry Paul when I was 12 even though he was 27 and lived in a different country. I cried a gallon of tears when he married Linda.

You have convinced me to do the White Pass Railroad. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money, but it seems worth it now from your description!

My daughter and I are doing an Ovation of the Seas Alaskan cruise in August, flying from Virginia to Seattle on Alaskan Airlines, so your review is relevant to me. Even more relevant is the fact that I am leaving my three fur kitties (all adopted from shelters) at home with a friend while I go cruise. Your kitties are beautiful. I know you will miss them and your dog, but what a glad reunion when you return home. Have a special time with the kids you were able to bring on the cruise!

If you like Expresso or chocolate martinis, you can’t beat the Schooner Bar.

I have down this tour on the Harmony and really enjoyed it. Anyone interested in the food industry like your DD will find it fascinating. It is amazing how precise the procedure is. Even if the brunch is not as good as expected, the actual tour is worth it in my opinion. I also did this tour on the Liberty of the Seas. It was also quite good, but the size of the Harmony will make it even more interesting for all of you.

Thanks for the information. I never thought to do that. There are definitely bartenders we used often that deserve a little extra tip.
-
We never got a ticket when on the Wonder, so the only way we could tip is to do a cash tip. We just gave bartenders our seapass card and the only thing that came back was the drink and the card. We paid tips and gratuities when we bought the plan.

If it is not in your room , just ask the state room attendant to bring it. No need to lug the water on board. He/she will also bring an extension cord if needed. Don't pack the CPAP machine in your luggage. Take it with all the gear in its carrying case. It doesn't count as a carry on. No problem getting through security.

In my opinion, it is better to get to the port too early than too late!

When a dozen eggs sells for $2.99 in Richmond, Virginia ($0.99 last year), I am not surprised of the cost of anything these days. I think the cost of a beer on a cruise also includes atmosphere and vacation bliss. That is why I am not opposed to paying $5.00 for a cup of coffee at a local cafe. The coffee usually includes a great conversation with a friend or family member which is priceless. I feel the same with drinks on a cruise.

My husband also died in March 2021, pcur, so we never got to go on our planned 30th anniversary cruise. My most memorable cruise, although it is hard to pick one, was this past November when our daughter went on my 30th anniversary cruise in place of her dad. We had a special time together and our favorite moment was finding the same bookstore in Old San Juan that my husband so excitedly found on a previous cruise. It was a very touching moment. It was actually on my anniversary date, and we both bought books in his memory. It was her first cruise, and she is now hooked!

Since we usually get the UBP, my daughter loves to come up with her own drink combinations which aren't too bad actually. I love watching the fun she has. I guess you could say she is my favorite bartender. I love drinks at the regular bars but feel there are a lot of them around to have the bionic bar as something different to use. Her best friend is an engineer, so she is always thinking of ways to improve on the mechanics.

When booking online, the website shows that you can pick your own room or have RCI do it for you. It would be easy to overlook especially if you already have a room or part of the ship you prefer. When calling, if you ask for a specific room, the rep probably assumes you know this information. Have her look at the deck plans of the ship and decide the best floor and location (forward, mid ship, aft) and ask for that specific location. She can then ask how much a balcony would be if RCI picks the room for her. Then she can decide if the difference is worth it. We like the aft section near the elevators, so we prefer to pick our room.

Corn Beef Hash, without a doubt, is my favorite. I wish they had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I am so glad you are doing this. I was missing your writing, pictures, and enjoyable descriptions. You are an expert traveler and reviewer.

I loved your review especially the drink pictures. I want to try all of them! Your writing is excellent. No one would ever believe English is not your first language. You seem like you would be a fun person to cruise with.

I have been on the sixth floor a couple of times on Oasis class ships. The last time was directly behind a public restroom and next to elevators. Noise was never a problem. I think you can relax. I think the sixth floor is very convenient to the Boardwalk, Central Park, the Promenade, and my favorite bar, Schooner.

Congratulations on the Harry Potter trivia contest. I am always impressed with people who know so many of the trivia answers. I like to participate in the trivia, but I never am close to winning. It's a gift to have such a good memory and passion for a subject. The student I tutor is a Harry Potter fan. She may be good enough for a keychain. She wrote a letter to Emma Watson's fan club and is eagerly waiting for a reply.

Love, love, love your picture on the carousel. One time on the Harmony, while waiting for the ice skating show to begin, the man next to me leaned over and whispered, "I am 85 and just rode the Abyss. My wife is 84 and just did the zip line." I replied back to him, "I am 64 and my daughter is 29. We just rode the carousel." He proudly stated, "We are going to try that too." He was a delight, we all really enjoyed the ice skating show.

If that was corn beef hash with the bacon and doughnut, it was way less than I take. I appreciate your self-control. I am glad you enjoyed Wonderland, and I agree it is more fun when shared. The red and blue pill refer to the Matrix actually. Basically, the red is for those who are willing to be adventurous, and the blue is for those contented to keep everything the same. My daughter had to explain that to me when the waiter asked. I ended up getting both pills. Cute idea but adds nothing to the actual drink.

I love your review and appreciate you doing it. Your orange tabby looks like my Phoenix. He has three siblings to keep me entertained. Have a Wonderful journey. I will be on her when she returns in the fall to Cape Canaveral. My favorite drink is whichever one looks good on the menu at the time!

My daughter and I enjoyed the experience. We are not picky. I had the beef, and it was delicious. It really is more about presentation and savoring the bites. The World dessert is fantastic and worth the experience. We tried 4 of the drinks because we had the beverage package. They were unusual and just plain fun. I would go again especially if I had a three or unlimited dining package. The only way you know is if you try it yourself because everyone has such a subjective opinion. There were twin girls celebrating their birthdays dressed up like Alice. That made the whole experience definitely worth it.

I love Deck 6. We are close to the Schooner Bar, one of our favorites. One floor down to the Promenade and two floors up to Central Park. We like the aft section to be close to main dining room and Boardwalk. It's close to a lot of the action but without noise. Most people I know love deck 6!

My favorite cocktails are the ones my daughter has fun creating at the Bionic Bar! She is thoroughly entertained, and so am I. The Sandy Collins at the Schooner Bar is good.

I have cruised on 8-9 different RCI ships and who the godmother or godfather is hasn't seem to impact anything. I think I actually one saw a picture of the godmother on Wonder. The other ships, I don't even have a clue who has that honor. RCI seems to be a good fit for my 31 year old daughter and my 67 year old self. We both would have preferred Taylor Swift, but she seems to be a little busy at the moment.
