Casino closed?:eek: Oh Hell no. Guess Bermuda by cruise ship is not on my agenda. Too many sea days and no casino.

The casino was open at night. I think they were allowed to reopen at 9pm.

We just did Bermuda for our honeymoon. We had ok weather but our excursions got canceled the first day due to wind. We ended up taking the ferry over to the capital and went shopping. Definitely not like shopping in the Caribbean. There were a few souvenir like shops but it was mostly like shopping in a city. The second day we went snorkeling and everything we saw was stunning. I would definitely recommend it and the people that live there couldn't have been any friendlier.

That's what I expected but she handed it back to my father so I'm not sure if what she gave us is a copy or if it's the real thing and we have to do it ourselves.

Mother Nature definitely had it in for us on the way there. We had two excursions planned (snorkeling and a night glass bottom boat) that were both cancelled due to the weather and I have to say I was relieved. By the second day the water had calmed down a lot and we had a great time and a smooth ride back to Baltimore.

Curious about this also. I've read one thing saying they were only celebrating on the one leaving on Halloween and then another post about them celebrating twice. We will be on her on the 26th so I'm hoping they're celebrating then too.

We've only sailed on the splendor so far so I don't have anything to compare it to but I will say we had a great cruise and the crew was wonderful. I think the only restaurant it has is the steakhouse which was very good.

Just finished turning all my paperwork to carnival (with one day to spare woohoo! Haha) and we'll be getting married a month from tomorrow. It's so real now. Still not sure where the ceremony will be but I know we got beauties lounge for the reception. I'm getting so excited!

While not positive, I believe there is a service elevator behind the scenes. When we were on the Pride and attending the CT there was a woman with a walker. I was not sure how she originally got there, but she went to the rest room thru a back door. The rest rooms were on the floor above.

There is a service elevator. We are getting married on the pride and during our tour the woman had mentioned that the only entrance is the top floor so if we have a lot of people that wouldn't be able to use the stairs it wouldn't work however if it was just one or two that they would be allowed to use the service elevator.

Never mind I had to call anyway. If anyone is curious the woman told me I could just circle what I want and fax it (not a good option for us because I changed my mind so many times it's all marked up) or just email them a list.

We are getting married on the carnival pride in October and I'm super behind on planning (found out I was pregnant right after booking and have had baby brain ever since lol). I've been faxing in all of our forms and somehow just noticed that the menu isn't a form. Probably because they just assume you'll be getting whatever is on menu 1. How do I submit my choices? Call? I know the obvious answer is to just call anyway but since the baby is now here and my quiet time is limited I'd rather not waste precious coffee chugging time if i don't need to haha

The pride out of Baltimore. No we didn't. In fact when we were about to go off of the ship onto the ramp there were a few guests in wheel chairs getting on the ship so my fiancé and I obviously stepped to the side so then the lady who gave the tour was like "here I'll get you off" and kind of pushed us through. She wasn't my favorite lol

The tour wasn't the best lol. I don't think they do them at this port very often because nobody there seemed to know what was going on. Everyone was super nice about it but I was just a little hectic. The tour itself was all of 15 min and then we were shooed off the boat down the zig zag 4 level narrow ramp while they were in the middle of boarding and dodging suit cases. I also didn't expect them to have a bunch of info but the woman didn't even know when we were getting married. Like I said everyone was wonderful but for us it really wasn't worth the drive although it did get me even more excited for the big day.

It's starting to feel real now. We have our tour this weekend and I also heard back from the maitre'd about having a table for 2 in the dining room. Not sure why that part excites me but I think at this point in just stoked with any correspondence that makes it seem soon lol
