I would love to see Wonderland added during dry dock.

I have heard of this happening, but never experienced it ourselves. When you board, there will be a time listed you can sign them up. Make sure you do that the first day.

I always leave my books behind on each of the cruises I have been on. Though I usually don't rely on picking up one to read as the selection is pretty limited in my experience.

We had a 2 bedroom aft suite on the Adventure and never had any problems with soot.

I bid on the OS for $200 pp (max amount). We are currently in a GS. This is less than half what it would be to upgrade via RCL. I am still kicking around putting a bid in on the RS even though it is currently sold out.

I just received the email for our cruise leaving March 25 on Mariner. 4 night cruise. We are currently in a GS.
Offer was for OS - minimum 100, maximum 200. Currently on this sailing it would be 400 pp to upgrade to an OS and there are two left. I was considering upgrading anyway so I may try this.
Also received an offer to RS for a minimum of 350 pp, but it is currently sold out on this sailing.

Currently RCI is having a pretty good sale on the refreshment package for $17 per person per day. This is the cheapest I have seen it.

I always book a grand suite or above though I haven't had a star class yet. I have sailed on Harmony and Oasis. We have also sailed on Freedom Class ships. Though Oasis Class are very nice, I actually prefer the Freedom Class. We had a wonderful time on the Liberty.

You collect your luggage prior to checking in, so you could send your carry on also. We opted to keep our carry on with us.

And you had airline tickets that you could change to the next day without paying a change fee or a fare increase (due the last minute nature of the new ticket )

can i ask what your plan B was, just in case you missed that early flight.
we generally sit around taking the later flight so as to insure we don't have a problem
not like a few years ago when I traveled for work, had status and the forgave as same day change with no charge
We had internet on the ship and had scoped out nearby hotels and pricing so we would book a hotel and catch a flight the next day. Plan C was to stay with a friend (3 hour drive)..
-
We have gotten off the ship at 6:30 and easily made a 9:00 am flight. We had transport to the airport arranged ahead of time. However, we did have a plan in place in case the stars did not align and we missed the flight.

Thank you for this review. It has a lot of really good information. We are considering a cruise on the Anthem.

It has taken me 2 - 3 business days.

I would get the refreshment package (non alcoholic ) for the adults. It includes all non alcoholic drinks (except starbucks) and bottled water. I wouldn't get a package for your daughter. Water, milk, juice is available at venues around the ship for free.

I received a $250 gift certificate in September that I applied to my cruise. I was told at that time that you cannot redeem them on board and must be applied at least 10 days prior to sailing.
-
I would call and see how much to upgrade to a GS. If there is any available and this close to sailing you might get a really minimal price to upgrade. If you pay anything, you'll get the points. I did it once and ended up in a OS for $49.00.

You have amazing photographs. I will be following along on your journey. Thank you.

I also really enjoy the live reviews. I love living vicariously through others until my next cruise. Thanks to all!

OBC from RCCL is not refundable. OBC from TA and credit card is refundable.

It took me a few times to book. When the finally went through I did receive a confirmation email.

Maybe they are targeting the last minute people who have to pay the full fare at the time of booking?
But if they are booking by the final payment date which is about 90 days from cruising, the monthly payment wouldn't apply would it?
-
They will credit back to the card you purchased it with. If you have a different card now, I would call the credit company and ask them how it will. E handled. You don't want your CC company to refuse the credit because the card number is no longer valid.

Anyone know if this would be the same with a casino booking?
Yes it is the same with casino booking. On My last cruise my daughter had to cancel at the last minute. I just did a no show. Taxes and fees refunded. I received the extra points for sailing solo.
