Recently on Beyond and had a 2PM boarding time which was crazy since all aboard was 2:30. Decided to head on over to the Pier and it wasn't an issue we were onboard by 11:20. No one questioned our paperwork. Worst case wait at the Pier or Hotel, we chose Pier.

Heading out on the Voyager in a few weeks. Will tickets be available on Day one?

On the Voyager of the Seas visiting Barbados & St Lucia in January. We have already booked Silver Moon in Barbados and the Cosol Tour in St Lucia both outside of the cruise line. In our confirmations they said they were approved. Anyone think we'll have problems due to Royal's statement on entry into Barbados & St Lucia? Thanks.

We ate in the Botticelli dining room tonight and the vibration/noise was pronounced. The wife said she would prefer not to dine there again. When making reservations you can choose Botticelli or Davinci depending on space available and I would choose the midship dining room Davinci. Make sure to book before you cruise or you’ll end up like us with limited choices. Food has been very good in the dining rooms. We’ve had the pan seared cod, halibut and duck all being very good.

Onboard this week our first Princess cruise. Underwhelmed so far from the shenanigans with the schedule to start the trip and whack a mole excursion changes and lack of choices to change. Dine my way was problematic when we showed up without reservations and couldn’t have a table for 2 until after 8 and the reservations were full first for the rest of the week. So much for my time dining it’s their time. Please make your reservations for dinner before coming. Horizon Court has been Meh. Crowded today with only one side open until Noon and long lines with little replenishment of deserts. Only 1735 passengers would hate to see what a full ship looks like. Haven’t seen or heard from Jody the cruise director (missing in action) assistant doing all the work. Good news the weather has been great and is expected to continue and all crew interactions have been to a high standard. Based on 30+ cruises and generally we’re pretty easy to please.

Seriously who in their right mind would've booked these Alaska drive by cruises if we had known this was the itinerary before booking? Princess is really taking advantage of everyone and this will be our first and last Princess cruise if they don't step up and do the right thing and compensate appropriately. After 30+ cruises this is without a doubt the biggest scuzz we've experienced and management is really giving the finger to all the booked passengers. Princess one and done.

As to poor management look at the Crown Princess record of propulsion problems over many years. There was plenty of opportunity to permanently correct the problem. Also a KP grad class of 80. 37 years with ExxonMobil, last 20 as seagoing Master. Crew can only do so much if corporate does not support a permanent resolution to a chronic issue.

Crazy! You're right two quick ports. We had a float plane tour in Ketchikan that's out the window. Although they did give us a $100 credit for our trouble.🤣 Warning to all Crown Princess travelers this summer if you can cancel GET OUT.

Received an email today of engine issues on the Crown and itinerary changes. This is ridiculous, the ship has a history of engine problems and now they've made the AK cruise season pretty much a waste of money. Poor management to not fix these issues during the pandemic down time. Anyone know what is going on?
