I love the arcade, one of my favorite things on the ship!
If you see “ass” as the record on Golden Tee that’s me.

PRINCESS SECRET...ask your room steward for a ROBE..from the SPA!!!!
Wait what?! Would this work for any room type?

2. We have an obstructed but the obstruction is small. That said if you wanted to look down to the ocean it would be a bit in the way (but barely more than the promenade would be). We’re in E702.
5. yes there are. It’s $150 a week.
6. casual is stuff that used to be free but now isn’t.

First ever slot tournament, and first time I played in the casino. Won $175. Not much compare to many but I was very happy.

No kids. Unique entertainment. Not constantly being sold things. No announcements constantly over the PA (which are usually trying to sell
me things on the other lines). Some cool experiences I’ve got to have with the cast.

Me too!🤞Their webpage states the old app will be available until 2/1 however even the new app’s implementation date was delayed by over 3 weeks. Hopefully all of the issues will be corrected before our cruise however since even the old one still had issues for some people doubt if they’ll correct most of them before dropping the old app. I try to be optimistic however based on their track record I am skeptical that all of the issues will be corrected soon…it’s like déjà vu!
Oh no our cruise is Feb 4

The other way round we got a letter when leaving to use as proof if we ever need it. I suspect you could get the same.

It’s not giving me any extra value so I don’t see the point in doing this. I just did one on Virgin but that was $300 for $600 booking credit and $600 on board credit.

Easiest way I remember port and starboard is port and left both have 4 letters....and that is always if facing front, or bow of the ship. Hope this 2 cents helps 🙂
Port is left on a boat but it’s never left on a table

Given I’ve done a long one I’m hoping they do days not voyages.

Also really hoping they roll out some sort of Sailor Profile like every hotel loyalty program has.
Do you need hypoallergenic pillows. Do you prefer port or starboard rooms, or even better... a favourite room number that can be assigned if available. This would stop having to call in and change cabins. A place where you could permanently upload a picture and your passport, rather than doing it on EVERY sailing.
Also why is there no channel with a live map and our current position and stats? HAL has that, and it is stupidly fun to have on in the room.
They permanently store citizenship which is infuriating for me as a dual citizen who has a booking in my other country

You need to use the app. That’s what we had to do on Regal

To me, most all accents are pleasing to the ear. Is that strange, IDK?
To me I take it to mean “oh you’re an immigrant tell me about your home” but it is frustrating when people guess wrong.

Please can someone explain how the casino/cheap cabins thing works?
Lose more money than the cruise would cost anyway

Thanks for all the replies, TBH we're not concerned about being spotted as first timers or Brits. We're really exited about the whole upcoming experience and hopefully we'll have a great time , meet some interesting people and see some fabulous places.
I’m always concerned about being spotted as a Brit. Because I’m not one.
”oh I love your accent, where in England are you from?”

So confused by these huge price hikes.
We had been waiting for VV to release their summer 2025 prices, had my eye on a 10-11 day European sailing in September. VV charging £11K+ for their entry-level suite. DH joked that we could get a premium line for less than that. So I checked. The first two I looked at - Explora and Oceania - had very similar 11- and 12-night itineraries also in September, similar cabin types, both £1-£1.5K cheaper than VV.
We had never considered a smaller, premium ship before now, so I guess I should thank VV for that.
But I am sad that so many guests who had tried - and loved - Virgin are now priced-out.
Yep. I love Virgin, but the reality is I’m priced out from 2025, I might try and book another 2024 trip. I’m hopeful deals will come up and maybe I’ll be in a better situation financially

We’ve got the magical 102 on our next voyage so I’m really interested to see this one

Honestly for me the best stuff at Gunbae is the apps.

Hi all,
I know this has been the case in the past but checking now, we’re on Regal Princess in February, will the MDR be open for lunch on embarkation day?

We got to go to the crew bar a couple of times recently on a Virgin voyage. No pictures were allowed but it was fun to get to see those areas, beyond just the stuff on a traditional tour.

That is because Nov 1st( All Saints Day) is an important holiday in many European countries, and in Spain it is actually a NATIONAL holiday.
Yep I knew that. Still wish I could have done it.

We were there on Halloween and November 1st. We just walked around the town, very walkable, we wanted to go to the market but it was closed on that day

It’s one of my favorites. No one talks about it much so it’s underrated. Honestly I just book for things I’m going to do just in case.

Makes sense. A lot of folks who started contracts right before the TA would be coming off contract now
