Once in Barbados I asked for soda and got nasty soda water. From then on out I just do the southern thing I am accustomed to and ask for a coke then tell them which kind of coke, sprite, coke zero, mellow yellow or Pepsi. I cannot wait to go on MSC divina and test the European ways by asking for a coke then saying I wanted a sprite, then they will say you said a coke and I will say you didn't ask me what kind of coke. HAHAHAHAHA Hey at least I dont call it pop haha that would be about as off the wall as this post has become, sorry.

(((PLEASE do not get onto me about this and if you do not vape please do not tell me how bad it is to sneak and do it. I understand but dont care. Most who vape will get it. AND PLEASE DO NOT i repeat DO NOT tell us to go to where smoking is allowed because we do not like the smell of cigarette smoke. )))

My wife and I have vaped on a cruise that didn't allow smoking before. We were very discreet and very polite about it. We did not have a problem on Carnival Paradise in the hallways or in the bars at all. We never vape at dinner or in eating areas and in public areas we take small draws not to fill the place with vape. Will we be gotten onto or get into trouble if we are discreet in bars and such for vaping? We are going to be on Divina in October. We use the small cylinder vapes (vape pens) that doesn't fill a room with fog just a 2 second puff of vape that dissipates.

Prosecco is Italian sparkling wine - we drink a lot of it here in the UK these days - it comes from the Veneto area of Italy usually (Venice and the northern parts) - it is a little lighter in flavour than Champagne, often more bubbly and not so harsh / buttery / strong tasting.

That sounds amazing. I am very seriously thinking of the package. Is the cocktail party fun or is it boring?

the canapes and fruit would be the same regardless of which package, i guess it depends whether you would prefer prosecco or champagne and which you value more? the prosecco was very nice, but so was the champagne - I know that probably doesn't help much!

LOL Not even sure I ever had prosecco or know what it is. Champagne usually gives me headaches though but it is stil nice to have a glass on special occasions

hi, i've done this package and the deluxe one on several cruises. the cocktail party is pretty much the same as the voyagers club party, and yes there are free drinks at this

 

We got fed up of fruit - the bowls were mounting up, at one point we had 5 bowls of fruit waiting for us!!

That is hilarious with the fruit. Is the regular one sufficiant? the deluxe is twice the amount.

You get the minimum points for the level you match and for classic that's 1 point

silver gets 2200 gold gets 4300 black gets 10000

That kinda blows hahahaha if I would have took carnival i would have been gold this next cruise but that is ok i have a feeling this will be much better cruise anyway :p

Has anyone ever done this or the deluxe one? It says an invitation to cocktail party what is that party? Does that party also include maybe a drink?

If you book a guaranteed Bella inside and get upgraded to a fantistica balcony does that mean your experience is upgraded as well? The person i talked to said that the experiences are guaranteed as well but I want to make sure. Has anyone been upgraded to fantistica and gotten the drink vouchers and all the experiences with it from a bella? Or was he meaning just the room upgrade? It is a little confusing.

I feel much better knowing that I'm not the only one carrying a folder of documents in the digital age :D

The computer didn't have one of my Internet packages and lost DH from one of our prebooked excursions. Concierge sorted in a jiffy with the backup paperwork.

magic fun folders are the number one rule of all types of travel. Mine goes very extensive with envelopes for daily spending etc lol

where do we catch the bus in phillipsburg?

Is there also a bus from marigot to maho beach? How do we do this?

I have not had any issues with this but as a general rule I have a plastic folding folder I call it my magical plastic paper. I dont go on any trips without it. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING I purchase for the trip, bookings for hotels, cruises, prepaid tours, receipts of ANYTHING I will receive later I keep in there along with directions and instructions for each day and or place.This way I know if I get on that ship and they say I did not purchase something I will pull out my paper and make them give it to me lol. Nicely of course.

It is working now but when I checked my personal info it has me as a female now and I cannot change it LOL

That is a releif to hear but i bet that was scary going to get on the ship and not even seeing your booking.

I am booked on Divina for Oct 14th and I have been checking my booking 2 or more times a day. In fact i checked it a few hours ago it was fine. I been checking to see if I got my cabin assignment yet. But now when I log on it says cannot load booking and then if I try to log out and use the booking and name prompt it shows my name in red like it is wrong. Anyone else having issues? Should I be worried? The cruise is paid in full and should not be disappeared like that. Before i freak out I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with seeing their booking as it may be a website issue.

We only got one but my nightie was artfully arranged on the bed every night!

#1. Is the same beer served everywhere or do some bars sell some that others don't? Such as the sports bar.

#2 does anywhere on the ship serve Fosters oil cans?

#3 I have read the regulations on dress but then read many articles and posts that contradict it. So for definitive answers... if I wear the following to the following areas will I be ok? Buffet-shorts and tshirt / Regular Dinners-Jeans Button down /Formal nights- slacks button down and tie

what about the addon restaurants do they do about the same dress as MDR?

#4 am I cool walking around the ship in shorts and a tshirt

#5 how soon after you book or how close to cruise are you assigned your cabin number if you book a guaranteed?

#6 ho easy is it to get a table for two in the add on restaurants

#7 how hard is it to get a table for two if you don't have my time dining and ave late dinner assigned by asking when you arrive?

#8 if you get the 4 dinner add on restaurant plan can you go to one of the restaurants twice instead of all 4 or do you only get one visit to each one?

#11 how long does it take to get your rewards match show up on your account.

They have a buffet in the MDR????? WOAH I have heard heard of any ship ever doing this. That is kinda cool but I could see how it could be crowded. What about the regular buffiet area and the sports bar for lunch? How crowded are those?
