  1. Important Update:

During our Carnival Liberty/Carnival Valor ship change process, some guests received a cancellation notice regarding cancelled pre-sale items, i.e., shore excursions, beverage packages, Faster to the Fun, Fun Shop purchases, Carnival Live, etc. Rest assured, our team will reinstate all pre-sale items at the original purchased price. We kindly ask that you refrain from rebooking any pre-sales to avoid double bookings. Thank you for your patience as our team completes this work.

I got this email and lo and behold my FTTF was cancelled and I received a refund. So please keep a look out. i am not happy with what is happening right now. I spent a lot of tie looking for the ship I wanted to sail on and also room choices. I hope everything gets squared away soon.

  2. I cannot access mine either and this morning there was a refund on my credit card for FTTF.

Apparently they real did cancel my FTTF. When I called a few days ago they said the email was sent in error but the refund is real!

I don't see how they can put that back without my approval now. It doesn't make sense because the money that I already paid for the cruise is not refunded...

  3. Drama queens by the boat loads.

I don't that as true. A lot of people have limited time they can go on vacation and save up for their ideal vacation. Having times and dates changed on you can affect your experience.

I know when I book a vacation I put a lot of thought in what I want to do and see and I also do a lot of research on the area and hotels/cruise ships before I book. Having a sudden change can make or break the deal.

  4. I can understand where the op is coming from. You plan and try to work out all the details and then it all changes. It happened to us on our first cruise where the itinerary changed totally on us. We still had a wonderful time but I was a bit disappointed in missing out on the ports we really wanted to see.

I am having issues with my next cruise as well. Valor being switched for Liberty. Now today I find our my FTTF was cancelled and they said there is a change in the sailing dates that I cannot see yet. I have been on hold with Carnival and waiting....

  5. So I was not thrilled that Carnival is changing ships from Valor to Liberty but i was hopeful all will be well. Just waiting to see if my cabin stayed the same.

This morning i got this email:

Please be advised, we regret to inform you your pre-sales order, 3KC1L1001, has been cancelled due to Sail Date Change on Booking. A refund to the credit card ending in has already been processed through our system and should show on your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may have caused, and we encourage you to book another one of our great online offerings. They are the perfect way to enhance your cruise vacation experience, and Carnival is adding new ones all the time.

Why would they cancel my FTTF? And what is this about a sail date change?

My cruise is not until April and when I looked at my booking the sail date appears to be the same.

I am not happy about all of this. I was really looking forward to this cruise and already booked my airfare. If they change the sail date next I will have to cancel.

  6. I was really looking forward to sailing on the Valor.

Not sure how I feel about the change. I purposely booked early to ensure I got ship, the floor and stateroom that I wanted.

Being that they are making this change are we obligated to accept it or can we cancel if we are not happy with the changes and room assignments?

  7. You don't say what Carnival ship you will be going on. We have seen a lot of Tables for two on Carnival. I know on the Sunshine they are in the middle of an isle with booths on one side and large tables on the other. There should be no problem getting a table at the traditional time.

I email the maitre'd before each cruise to get the table we want. If you let me know which ship I should be able to give you the maitre'd 's email address so you can email him with your request for a table for two!

Hi - We are sailing on the Valor. It will be in April of next year.

    Thanks for everyone's help.

  8. Hi

We have cruised a couple of times but always with family. We will be sailing on Carnival next year as a couple and would rather dine alone.

With anytime dining can you get a table for two?

If not can we request early dining and ask for a table for two?

    Thank you.

  9. Hi

Not sure where to ask these questions so I thought i would start here.

We are thinking of doing a European Cruise next year. It will be with either NCL or Carnival. It will be either Greece or Italy.

I have a few of questions and hope somebody can help.

Being the ship is large will it tender or dock? Is where the ship stops close to highlights or do we need to do an excursion to see the highlights of a specific area? (Ex - Rome)

I was looking at some of NCL's excursions and they very costly. Is there other ways to see the sights or other tours outside of the cruise tours?

Lastly - is it worth doing a cruise to Europe?
