We are on Celebrity Reflection, also heading yo FLL ...we just followed Freedom out of Barcelona harbor...and now, almost two hours later...it appears you all are returning to port???? Did you have a medical emergency on board?

Thank you, Hank, for the suggestion...do you have any lines that you recommend? We are relatively new to cruising, with just 4 Celebrity cruises. We have enjoyed them all; really love TAs and the sea days.

You actually have a pretty large variety of ships, to choose from. If you make a choice to limit yourself to a single cruise line (one which seems to be determined to reduce the quality of their product) then its on you. Expand your horizons and look at all the offerings. There are already dozens of Transatlatics...scheduled for the spring of 2019.

The website is not letting me view the sailings...it seems counterintuitive to make an announcement...and then not have information available on the site...we are very much interested in 2019 transatlantic from Europe to USA, fall 2019. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'm grateful :)

I can't say this next suggestion will make your cruise experience more efficient, but something you might like to try is an AFFOGATO!

 

I had never heard of this until someone on cc recommended it (sorry I can't recall the original poster at this moment), but I tried it at Cafe al Bacio and I was instantly addicted. Beyond words.

 

Google: "An affogato is a coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped or "drowned" with a shot of hot espresso. "

 

So, after you've collected all this wealth of information on how to be efficient, you can go and relax on Deck 5 at Al Bacio with an Affogato! [emoji12] Hope you enjoy!

I've had the same issue, my last 3 visits to the site. I re-entered the "missing info" and then I was locked out for 20 minutes.Every.Time. Beyond frustrating.

Just venting...while I love Celebrity cruises, I truly hate their website.

 

I've long ago completed check-in (100% according to the site) and printed my Xpress Pass. I log onto the site today just to see if eDocs might be ready yet and the site tells me, "You must complete items before checking in." Wait, I've already checked in 100% and printed my Xpress Pass. Am I missing something, other than that their site stinks? :rolleyes:

 

It sure doesn't leave me with warm fuzzies about my upcoming cruise. Ah, well. Just venting...thanks for listening!

We are also traveling on October TA. I just tried to log on to "Manage my Reservation"...no luck...error message. Best suggestion? Try back on Monday :(

A fellow wore bib overalls and a pork pie hat to dinner in Luminae (kept hat on throughout) many nights during our April transatlantic on Reflection.

For our April 2017 TA, our edocs were never available, nor the capability to request luggage tags. At 28 days out, we contacted our travel agent and she emailed our edocs and requested our tags. Rec'd the tags in 3 days.

Delta changed our flight from 3:00pm to 12:05 pm

Our Celebrity TA arrives at 5:00am...we'd appreciate suggestions for a "safe" time to be off the ship.

This is not true in our experience.We have always enjoyed our two bottles (per cabin) on the balcony...no corkage fee on balcony...how would "they" even know?

Yes, they mean 750 ml bottles. No, you do not pay $25 to have the wine inside your cabin - but you must pay the $25 to drink the wine on your balcony. Yes, the "corkage" fee applies to screw-caps, too.

We were on Reflection TA in April. Internet worked well for social media, email, etc. No issues at all.

We did a 16 day Panama transit last fall...left on October 31...not a drop of rain...lots of humidity

and most days the temps were in low 90s.

We had a wonderful time.

We sailed on Reflection 4/22, traveled to Prague and Vienna upon disembarking and are looking forward to Venice, Siena and Rome before we do the reverse TA in October. These horrific incidents do give us pause, however we are not cancelling/changing our European travels.

My pic would be an S1 corner aft; deck 12 does have the scraping. We were in 2208. Deck 11 has the spider, so deck 10 is our favorite for this type of cabin. You said SV with a question mark..so I thought I would include an S1 corner aft. It is a trek, but after doing it a few times you end up not minding at all...the views are so worth it!
