I noticed on the ship track map on one of the local booking websites that Diamond is heading right into Olwyn territry. Is ths correct?

It's all happening on the high seas in Australia at the moment .....

Some of the weather models have another low / possible cyclone crossing the FNQ coast later this week, so they don't want to reschedule any of the cruises up this far for the next week.

Does Princess contact you direct regarding an upsell even if you have your booking with a TA? How long do they give you to decide on the offer?

Are you more likely to get upsell offers if you book directly through the cruise line or with TAs?

I've now started a little book to write down prices of cruises we want to go on in the future. As we're new to this I figure it will get me used to what is good value and what isn't.

Do many of you who have made a booking a long way out cancel and rebook if the ship is not full before full payment is required - in the hope the price drops? Have you ever been able to get your original cabin back at a reduced price? I am aware the original OBCs would be lost.

We have made a booking for 2016 and the similar cruise this year has now dropped significantly for the March sailing. Is it normal practice for cruiselines to offer sale prices before doing the round of upsells and upgrades?

Now we don't normally worry too much about the exchange rate in the lead up to overseas holiday, but boy it's really dropping fast this time!

I was in touch with our TA and she has provided me with a copy from their Princess reservation system. I will print it out and take it with us - it shows it is for specialty dining for 2 people, which she tells me is to the value of $55.00.

I've gone through the paperwork and there is no reference to the offer. They had my husband's middle name spelt incorrectly on the booking summary - you have to be on the ball and check everything properly don't you?

We have a free specialty restaurant dining for two as part of our booking in March. Is this supposed to show up somewhere on our booking summary?
