Can you tell me which beaches DONT have rental umbrella's and chairs?? I definetly need at least umbrella shade,,,, TIA!

The major one all have rental but, Place Like elbow beach will only rent if reserved if it busy. Some of the smaller private beaches do not. I will say I thought the same thing when I made this post and we spent 90% of the time in the water.

They hard a few different Hard Cider and if you wanted twisted Tea you can ask for Ice tea with Lemon Rum taste just like it. Not every bar has Ice Tea but, I would fill my cup up at the Buffet and ask bartender to add the rum.

Where is best place to watch Sail Away from if it is raining?

What's your favorite drink to request with UBP?

Does anyone know if Apple Juice is included it was a few years ago but,not sure if that has changed. I know Buffet has it at Breakfast too.

In Bermuda I took water off in my thermal bottle without issue. I just made sure the bottle was empty on my return. Although I only had water, it could easily have been any type of drink.

 

I also had a sealed protein bar in my bag, which to my knowledge is perfectly fine to do in Bermuda.

It's port dependent. Some ports don't care what you bring off and others don't even allow water off the ship. On our last Australia cruise (Celebrity) NOTHING was allowed off at ports, not even water. Which was really silly since we left from Sydney, and all our port calls were in Australia and we ended in Sydney. We never left the country and yet could not take anything off.

We are going to Bermuda any idea how strict they are. I don't remember.

Juice in a resealable bottle should be no problem... The main thing they frown upon is fruits, vegetables, and meats. Some ports, particularly in Mexico will have dogs sniffing bags at the port, and will make you dispose of any contraband items...

You can't buy Bottle Juice on board correct?

I believe you are not allowed to bring fruit off the boat but, can anything else be brought off the boat what about water bottle with Juice in it?

Put an extra $45 in your budget for chairs and an umbrella. After all you are going to spend on a cruise, this is a drop in the bucket :)

Thank for the advice even though I wasn't asking for it... 3 Days of Rentals is more like 175.00.

I read that elbow beach charges 100 for 2 beach chairs and Umbrella and I was wondering if their is any shade any where there? I can live without the chairs but, not sure we can go all day without shade? Anyone know if you can rent umbrella only?

We love NCL. We Live in NJ and Just booked out 2nd cruise out of Boston since it was 1/2 the price of NY. The ship is smaller but, much more affordable.

We booked 3 and 4th passenger sail free for Bermuda on Black Friday. They actually offered all the promotions if you booked black Friday.

Can you use UBP? IS anything excluded?

Does anyone have any feed back on Obstructed view cabins? We are trying to Decide which cabin and was wondering if any one had one they preferred or one to avoid.

It was on some site about the renovation being done at GSC I found when researching before my trip. The staff we spoke to said they heard the same thing when we were onboard last week too.

Probably not. We were on it last week and didn't announce the change until we got on board. If you weren't watching your account online or not on this board we would never have known.

We were on same boat and this was our 3rd NCL and not sure we will be returning either. We felt the meals in Main dinning were better than specialty and we agree not a lot of great lunch options.

OP i'm leaving in a few weeks and have a few questions:

 

other than what you wrote, did you do/try anything else in nassau, looking for cheap ideas for 8 yr old twins

 

space center: i'm very likely going. how much was uber. do you know if you get to stay 1 hour later than closing for the movie if you had taken the ship excursion? i'm very interested in all details of your visit here to the center. i know there's not enough time to do everything so any advice is appreciated what to see. personally id love to see the launch pads up close as well but sounds like thats on a different tour from what i read

 

tell me more about your room. ill be in it. how big was the balcony compared to the others. when did the pools or even the pool deck get warm enough that you wanted to spend time outside?

Not Op but, we were on same cruise and I will say do not go to the Public beach area with your son it was dirty. We went with our 7 year old son and he wasn't a fan. If I was to do it again I would just take cab to cable beach or Atlantis Area. Out Itinerary was bad but, if your going to be in nassau for a full day I would actually do one of the Day beach pass at Hilton or Melia resort.

Anything new? We are sailing this coming sunday and we are schedule to stop at GSC on 11/23/2016. hopefully it will be open by then.

Last I heard was probably would not open till January 2017.

Yes Buffet and Main dinning room has it and you can get carton in the am rest of the time it is in a machine. We usually took 1-2 carton to leave in the frig in our room so my son could drink it in the morning before we left the room.

They give travel mug with Soda package but, not with UBP. They do not have Soda machine you have to go to one of the bars to get it filled.
