Yes, it will be crazy. We sailed this cruise 3 years ago on the BA, and there were over 1000 kids, and this week 6 years ago on the Jewel out of NYC, same thing. However, while there were lines to check in, my kids were never shut out. Id do it again.

Did you think it was organized enough staff to kids? My son is Autistic so just trying to get an idea if Kids club will even be an option for us.

  2. It must just be a NJ break time....few schools break that far before Thanksgiving! I would think the kids clubs wouldn't be packed at all!

Yeah it is Teachers convention and Election here and boat sails out of NY so I was wondering if it would be effected. I think Disney call this week NJ week since so many NJ school are closed.

  3. Neither did I.... the only way I found out was NCL cancelled an excursion and when I called to inquire why that's when they told me the port time change.

just a side note: if you did the Breakaway in the spring then you do GSC then Nassau but the fall it changes to Nassau then GSC (I wonder if they expect to miss GSC with different seas and now can do a Sea Day instead of paying extra to dock in Nassau earlier)

I was wondering the same thing.

  4. Others posting on CC have found it to be disappointing and not worth the up charge and not worth the cost. I guess it is all a matter of one's taste. It has been empty on every cruise I have been on.

    Thanks!

  5. That's up to you. Have you checked out the menu? I did, and I wouldn't eat there even if there wasn't an upcharge, because it didn't appeal to me. Plenty of others love it. So your call.

The menu doesn't thrill me but, my husband would love it so going to have him make the call.

  6. yes

Thank you! Do you know if that was always fee or has that changed?

  7. I just booked my reservation since we are 90 days out and saw that I was charged 17 per person for Ocean blue but, none of the other restaurants that we reserved. We have the 4 day Specialty Dinning package and are traveling with my sister who is in a separate cabin who also has the package. I did add her to my reservation and did not book her separately. Does Ocean blue have an additional charge?

  8. Urrrr, a more precise/generalized location of the Jersey shores would be beneficial along that 50 to 70 miles stretch off the GSP, presumably. ;)

Any where really since I don't mind driving any where along GSP? I am at Exit 82 but have family all over the area into middlesex county.

  9. ... we booked our tickets through the Paradise Island Comfort Inn/ Resort for a day.

After going to the Comfort Inn to get our paperwork, we walked over to the Atlantis. Outside of the resort, on the LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE FRONT DOOR is an area to purchase your ticket to the waterpark.

We stood in line for 30 minutes before we reached the lady at the counter who told us...you didn't need to stand in this line....go into the resort and turn in your paperwork NEAR THE DIG.

    *facepalm*!!

    Don't make our mistake....!! ;)

Was it cheaper to book this way? I was thinking about doing this too.
