We love Cabo and we're about to book a trip there for next June, that is until the state department issued a warning NOT to go Cabo. So,No...not safe according to the warning and what I have read.

Hate the food on Celebrity, especially from the buffet. Only cruise line I actually lose weight. Stopped going on it.

I did it. I ordered the black one and filled it all up with the gem stones....it looks great. Thanks for the idea.

That's really something that it was covered in soot..maybe it has to do with the weather conditions, but we never experienced any! We cruised 1/22-1/29

It is really interesting how a cruise or an aspect of a cruise can change from week to week.

We were just on the Regal several weeks ago. Stayed in an aft cabin, D726. NO SOOT. It was Fabulous and no soot to be had. Enjoy.

We were on the Regal several weeks ago. Since we were in a full suite, we got to go to a specialty restaurant the first night for free. We choose The Crown Grill....it was Fabulous. We are foodies and love to dine. It was seriously wonderful. I had the best Chilean sea bass and DH had a bone in rib eye. Both were outstanding, as were the other courses. I highly recommend it. We also ate at Sabatini's. Excellent. We also did another night there for a taste of Tuscan with wine pairings ...again excellent.

Coffee from Horizon court was NOT syrup. Beans used and actually very good. ( I am a coffee snob too)

We did a Crown loft suite on the Allure. That is also a fabulous way go about that cruise. We will definitely do the Haven in the future. This is the only way we will cruise from now on. It is like a cruise within a cruise. Hope more cruise lines start doing this. Enjoy your trip.

I was recently on the Regal and thought all the food ( except in the MDR at times) and the desserts were wonderful. Also, we took, the ships Ultimate Tour, which is an intense 4 hour behind the scenes tour. I can tell you, after being allowed in the bakery galley......everything is made from scratch. We saw all the machinery, ovens and and the actual desserts, breads, etc being Made from scratch and containers of every ingredient you can think of. It was very impressive. The Eclipse, on the other hand, I actually lost weight on that cruise.

After cruising 70+ cruises, I feel it is not possible to choose a cruise based on the "name" of the cruise line.....they ships are all different and change constantly. I have met people on back to back cruises who had a fabulous experience one week, and a totally different experience the following week. I have not been on a Princess cruise for 12 years, with the grand being the last and not liking it. Jus got off the Regal and love it! The Royal class is the way to go at this time if you are considering a Princess, IMO. Sorry to say, my least favorite cruise experience was on the Celebrity Eclipse. I have been on other Celebrities and will not do another one.

Hey Croptop..safe travels home.. nice meeting you on the first week on the Regal. We, too, loved our cruise. It has been 12 years since we were on a Princess cruise...so glad we decided to try the Regal. Loved the Crown Grill and Sabatini, and Alfredos. The Horizon court Buffet, by far the best of any cruise ship. We did club class dining, which was mediocre. Needs improvement. Loved the Ultimate Ships Tour.....wearing the bathrobe as we speak, lol. Wonderful production shows and we really enjoyed the magician. Great crowd and fellow passengers as well. I would be sad too thinking of disembarking tomorrow ( especially to a cold climate) , but we live here in South Florida. Enjoyed MUTS.

Lalaland is not playing on the Regal. We saw a Dog's Tale with Richard Gere.....it is based on a true story.....it was wonderful, but bring a box of Kleenex if you see it. Secret life of Pets was playing and a Jack Reacher movie.
