Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We leave on Saturday on the Joy and Costa Maya was replaced with GSC.
  2. We were on the Encore last week. If you can’t book prior, go to deck 6 and book at the Social. We usually book on the kiosks but they aren’t always showing or allowing you to reserve. If you don’t get a booking the stand by option has had some success. Everyone waiting in that line found a seat in the theater. It was an amazing show! Enjoy your cruise.
  3. Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions. We arrived at Coki as a group of 10 at 12:15. It was crowded but we easily were able to get chairs (in the front row closest to the water) without issue. It was a perfect day.
  4. I’m not sure what part of that was Sketchy ……:) We’re on the Encore arriving there this week. I’ve been to St Thomas over 20 times and have been to all the main beaches. SH is difficult to get transportation back to the ship for this many people. Coki ticks all the boxes and everyone is happy. My question is if you’ve been in a similar situation with many large ships already docked hours before you and you arrived mid day at Coki beach were you able to rent loungers OR were they all taken?
  5. We’re arriving last with three other ships in port already. It will be busy regardless of the beach we pick. We usually go to Coki but we’re first to arrive. I’m trying to determine what are the chances of being able to still get beach chairs. We have 10 people. The RC ship is scheduled to leave at 4. I’m guessing most folks will leave around 2? Has anyone been last in that can offer some advice. I don’t think you can prebook or reserve chairs in advance. Or can you?
  6. We cruised the Bliss the first week of December. We are sapphire and boarded early and we typically book our comedy shows on the kiosks once onboard. This past cruise we went to the social and we’re given a piece of paper that outlined all of the entertainment that could be booked that cruise. We picked all the shows we wanted and handed it to the staff working. Within an hour the reservations appeared on our app. It was so much easier and much quicker.
