I did a cruise from Barcelona a few years back and I do recall taxes being chargeable at Barcelona There was a sign on the bar stating taxes where chargeable (even though we had the drinks package). The cruise then went, I think to Morroco and the sign was removed as soon as we where in the international waters. I am on the Epic on 7th aug and I expect the same to happen - however as this ship docks at all port that are in the EU - I am hoping that vat is only charged in Barcelona - but knowing my luck it will be all of them for the cruise as in theory it remains in the EU. I cant change so wont worry about it.

My kids have cruised with me everytime, but my eldest is now 21 and is sailing with me again (but on his own booking now), but he is starting off with nil points This is despite him doing several cruises in the past with us. What should I have done so he got those points - only asking as I have a 14 year old and want him to get the points if I have missed it for the eldest Thank in advance
